QNU organiser Paul Mitchell will be visiting Baptist Care sites over the next couple of weeks to get feedback from
members in relation to the employer’s response. The QNU point of view is it is not a very good offer at all. Rather
than close the wages gap between Baptist Care and public sector nurses, the proposed wage increases will see you
fall further behind. Baptist Care has also chosen to refuse all but one of our other claims. Please feel free to discuss
this response with Paul when he visits your site. If you are unable to attend you can contact him or Vonnie Semple
at the QNU office via email on pmitchell@qnu.org.au or vsemple@qnu.org.au to provide your feedback.
