At Scanbox we have chosen to develop and future-proof our own distribution instead of
outsourcing as several of our colleagues. With up to 1,000 daily orders, 20,000 items and
up to 1,200 SKUs are high dynamic picking and operational reliability keywords for us. It
has been crucial for our choice of SSI Schäfer as a partner that they are able to supply
everything from steel to software. With this investment we have reduced our picking warehouse
area with 600 m2 (50%) and the personnel with 14-16 employees. The payback
time for the system is 3 years.
