32 Youth/Teen Programs/Fall 2012 Youth/Teen Sweet Treat Workshops with Gretchen Leddy Gretchen Leddy, owner of Cakes of Distinction by Bachman’s, is stepping from behind the bakery counter to teach young people the craft and artistry of decorating, baking and candy making. All classes will be at Cakes of Distinction by Bachman’s, 258 W. Olentangy St. After School Sweets Ages 8-13. Looking for something fun to do after school? Join us and enjoy learning how to make an assortment of edible treats. Edible projects may include cupcake decorating, cookie and candy making. Each month will have a different theme! This is a hands-on class where we will have fun working with all different types of icings. Class will be at Cakes of Distinction by Bachman’s. This is a great opportunity to make the gingerbread house of your dreams . . . and we clean up the mess! A gingerbread house will be set up for each student and the class will include instruction for decorating with icing, candies and chocolates. We will also make a few fondant figures to make each gingerbread house complete! Class will be at Cakes of Distinction by Bachman’s. Resident $62, Non-resident $71.
