Step up to “HD ready” and get the
sharpest television of all time. This
designation indicates the LCD TV can
reproduce full HDTV resolution of 1920 x
1080 pixels in “progressive” display
(horizontal skip-free images).
24p replay
In the cinema, 24 full images per second
are projected. To deliver the same picture
quality in home cinema, fi lms on the new
disc type Blu-ray are stored with 24
“progressive” (that is, horizontal skip-free)
images per second. Nearly all Full-HDcapable
Grundig LCD TVs support this
mode.

Perfect Picture Plus, which is integrated
into all Grundig LCD TVs from the Vision 4

electronic components: Digital 3-D comb

moiré eff ect). DCTI for improving the
sharpness of colour contours. DLTI for

3-D sound eff ects
Optically, the Grundig Vision 9 with sound
projector is indistinguishable from an LCD
TV with normal stereo sound. Via a
loudspeaker bar with 16 high-performance
Konus speakers and a sub-woofer placed
in the rear of the housing, real surround
sound is produced without additional 5.1
equipment. The surround sound is
provided by a sophisticated technology
that activates the individual speakers with
a minimal delay. This generates bundles of
sound waves and directs them to diff erent
points throughout the room, where they
refl ect off the walls.
ECO panel
Today, televisions use far less energy than
ten years ago. However, every kilowatt
saved will relieve your purse and the
environment. The Vision 6 LCDs with the
ECO panel consume up to 48 percent less
energy in normal TV operation than a
comparable standard LCD TV.
Zero stand-by
Electricity isn’t just consumed when the
TV is operational, but also in the so-called
stand-by. Vision 6 ECO LCDs also score
points here. With a mere 0.09 watt power
input in stand-by mode, they lie far below
the usual values and are virtually 0 watt.
Integrated DVB-T receiver
DVB-T is digital television received via
rooftop or indoor antenna. In a number of
Grundig LCD TVs a DVB-T receiver is
already integrated..
Grundig DVB micro receiver
Grundig micro receivers for digital
satellite, DVB-T or cable signals can be
plugged directly into the LCD TV’s SCART
socket. This way they remain invisible,
except for the small infrared mouse
necessary for remote control.
HDMI connection
The High Defi nition Multimedia Interface
is the digital UE port of the future and an
important prerequisite for the
reproduction of HDTV signals. An HDMI
cable transmits signals for digital pictures
and digital sound.
Common Interface Slot
The Common Interface is a slot into which
decoders for Pay-TV in LCD TVs or DVB
receivers can be retrofi tted.
USB connectivity
Via the fast USB 2.0 interface on a
number of Vision 6 and the new Vision 9
LCDs, an external hard disc or a USB stick
can easily be connected.
