Optically, the Grundig Vision 9 with its 3-D sound projector is indistinguishable from an LCD TV with normal stereo
sound. A sound unit beneath the screen houses the individual speakers. But the sound projector has a bit more to
off er than the usual four mid-range and treble speakers: Grundig has integrated 16 high-performance, special Konus
speakers into the sound unit. The subwoofer is located at the back of the housing and projects to the rear. The
surround sound is provided by a sophisticated technology which activates the individual speakers with minimal delay.
This generates bundles of sound waves and directs them to diff erent points throughout the room, where they refl ect off
the walls. The result is surround sound which usually can only be replicated by 5.1 systems.

Of course, an excellent picture also belongs to excellent sound. The Grundig Vision 9 also off ers full HD resolution
with 1920 x 1080 pixels as well as a refresh rate of 100 hertz. In combination with the Motion Picture Improvement
technology for preventing motion blur, such a brilliant, highest-resolution picture is generated that even fast camera
pans and fast-moving sports always remain razor-sharp.
Cinema fans will also enjoy a maximum of movie pleasure on the Grundig Vision 9. In the “Movie Mode”, 24 pictures per
second are shown and provide true-to-the-original replay of all feature fi lms via Blu-ray Disc or HD-DVB set-top boxes
with absolutely uniform motion replay (without fi lm shutter).
For media player connection, the Vision 9 features four HDMI slots, which all comply with the HDMI 1.3 CEC standard.
Operating any peripheral devices which have been connected, such as a DVD player, Blu-ray player, satellite receiver
or DVB-C receiver, is made possible using the TV remote control, as long as these devices also feature HDMI 1.3 CEC.
At the same time, it is completely irrelevant which manufacturers the playback or receiver devices are made by: the
Grundig remote control can operate all these combined media via the Vision 9.
The timelessly beautiful, unique design of the Vision 9, the materials used and the myriad of practical details form a
perfect symbiosis of quality and durability. The off set sound unit of the sound projector with its soft forms and rounded
lower edges has a distinctive and dynamic appearance. The display area is structured quietly and lineally. And the
elegantly covered cable channel prevents any loose cables from intruding into the image.
