As I write this, gold is soaring over $1,400 per ounce, and
confidence in the dollar is droppin’ like a stone. Consumers
are torn between the instinct to hoard what little
money they have, and the urge to “buy now!” before the purchasing
power of their bucks shrinks further. Reports show
the few categories of goods showing an upswing in sales
include long-storage survival foods, water purifiers — and
ammo. I understand that.
Ammo has been historically — and is — the ultimate fallback
currency. Stored properly, it beats money in the bank
hands down. Take a 20 outta’ your pocket and lay it next to
