Article VI. Officers of the General Students Council
Constituted as the General Students Council, it will choose from among its
members the following officials:
President
Secretary
Treasurer
Article VII. Functions of the members of the General Students Council
A. President
1. Will call and preside over the meetings of the General Student Council and
the assemblies of the student body.
2. Will prepare a plan of work and activities that will have to be submitted for
consideration and approval of the Associate Dean of Student Affairs at the
beginning of each academic semester.
3. Will represent the General Students Council at all the institutional functions
and activities in which representation of this body is necessary.
4. Will present to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and to the student body
an annual report of the activities performed by the General Students Council.
5. Will be honorary member, with voice and vote, of all the student commissions
and organizations, as designated.
B. Vice President - Biomedical Sciences
1. Will collaborate with the President in the fulfillment of his duties.
2. Will assume the functions of the President in absence of this officer.
3. Will serve as liaison between the students of Biomedical Sciences and the
students of Clinical Sciences.
C. Vice President - Clinical Sciences
1. Will collaborate with the President in the fulfillment of its functions
2. Will take on the functions of the President when the Vice President of
Biomedical Sciences cannot fulfill this function.
