Chinrest/Camera Supports - Miles Research

The camera support rail has an adjustable height to ensure the camera is centered on the visual axis
vertically. The linear slide rail allows the camera to be positioned on the visual axis laterally.
This chinrest features open sides, so that lid retraction can be performed without interference.
The chinrest comes with a compact tabletop tripod that can adjust from 7.5” to 9.5” (in terms of chinrest
height from the table); the standard desk or table height is 29”. The chinrest may be mounted on other
tripods or supports via the threaded ¼”x20-tpi mounting hole.
This camera support makes it very easy to take eye pictures, since the autofocus is helped out and can
work much more accurately by having the camera centered on the iris, and at the same distance for each
iris.
