Easy Tape Installation<br />

the installation tool and roll it<br />
out along a benching edge to<br />
perform adhesive mounting.<br />
The tape can then be epoxied<br />
at its ends, matching it to the<br />
thermal response of the<br />
substrate. Mounting is that<br />
simple. PurePrecision tape scale<br />
is made of nickel alloy for corrosion resistance, immunity to cleaning<br />
solvents and long-term reliable performance.<br />

Stick-On Markers<br />
PurePrecision Laser Tape works with Mercury II ’s stick-on index and<br />
limit markers when the flexibility and inventory savings of cut-tolength<br />
capability is required. Stick-on index and limit markers can be<br />
placed anywhere in seconds: there is no need to mix epoxy or drill<br />
holes to mount bulky magnets or limit switches. Just apply the<br />
Mercury II’s 20µm pitch glass scales are available in lengths from<br />
10mm to 1m and rotary diameters up to 121mm. Custom scales are<br />
also available for OEM orders – special thicknesses, widths, rotary<br />
arc segments, and specialized materials such as near-zero CTE<br />
glass. Linear glass scales can have built-in or stick-on index and<br />
limit markers.<br />
