Hang out with your friends! The group chooses
the activities, helps with the planning and learns
to handle their money. The first week the group
will have a planning party at a local park district.
A schedule of activities will be distributed the
second week.

Bring your appetite for great cooking. Young
Chefs will work on beginning cooking skills,
safety in the kitchen and proper table etiquette.
Each week participants will prepare a different
recipe, socialize with peers and assist with
clean up.

Grab your bathing suit, towel and sun tan lotion and join your friends for a relaxing afternoon at
the pool. If students have not had opportunity to eat lunch at school, time will be provided at the
pool. In the event of inclement weather, program is held at Palatine Community Center. Please
bring money for snacks.

Here is your chance to try out a variety of Special
Olympics competitive sports. Athletes will get the
opportunity to learn the basics in bocce, track and
field, softball and other competitive sports.
