<strong>NWSRA</strong> Art Shows<br />
<strong>NWSRA</strong> participants may have the opportunity to display art work<br />
throughout the year. <strong>NWSRA</strong> programs contribute a variety of art<br />
to be displayed at area galleries and art shows. Please contact Sue<br />
Huckstadt for more information regarding dates, locations and<br />
hours for the shows or to display your art work.<br />

FIT PERKS Program<br />
Attention Fitness Fanatics! <strong>NWSRA</strong> is excited to launch the<br />
Fit Perks program. Fit Perks provides incentives for registering<br />
for fitness-related programs. Fit Perks members will receive Fit<br />
Points for every registration in a Fit Perks eligible program. There<br />
are four reward levels that Fit Perks members may attain. For each<br />
point level achieved, members will receive a reward.<br />
The Fit Perks reward structure is as follows:<br />

Rookie 50 and under Pedometer<br />
Pro 51-150 Water Bottle<br />
All-Star 151-250 Hand Towel<br />
Hall of Fame 251+ Hall of Fame pin<br />
with certificate of<br />

Programs that award Fit Points are indicated in each seasonal<br />
brochure by a heart icon in the upper left corner of the program<br />
description, along with the number of points assigned to that<br />
program. Enrolling in Fit Perks is easy, just sign up for a fitness<br />
program that awards Fit Points. After enrolling, make sure to<br />
download your copy of the Fit Perks brochure by visiting www.<br />
nwsra.org/fitperks.<br />

<strong>NWSRA</strong> has gift certificates available for that special person in your<br />

Congratulations to these Award Winners<br />
The Illinois Park and Recreation Association Community Service<br />
Award honors those who make outstanding contributions to the<br />
community through involvement in parks and recreation. <strong>NWSRA</strong><br />
is pleased to recognize and congratulate the following recipients<br />
of the IPRA Community Service Award: Arlington Heights Young<br />
Professionals, Arlingtones Barbershop Quartet and the Meadows<br />
Baptist Church. These organizations have made a huge impact on<br />
<strong>NWSRA</strong> and its programs!<br />
<strong>NWSRA</strong> Board Meetings<br />
<strong>NWSRA</strong> Board Meetings are held at the <strong>NWSRA</strong> office at Park<br />
Central, 3000 W. Central Road, Rolling Meadows. The public<br />
is welcome to attend. Please call the <strong>NWSRA</strong> office prior to attending<br />
a meeting to confirm the date. If an accommodation is<br />
required due to a disability, please contact <strong>NWSRA</strong> at least 48<br />
hours in advance of the meeting. The summer meeting dates are:<br />
May 25 and July 27.<br />
<strong>NWSRA</strong> Fall Brochure &<br />
Registration Schedule<br />
The <strong>NWSRA</strong> fall brochure will be distributed through the<br />
mail, schools and facilities between August 17 - 23. If you<br />
do not receive a brochure by August 24, please call our<br />
office. Fall program dates are tentatively scheduled for<br />
Monday, September 19 - Saturday, December 3. The registration<br />
deadline for fall programs is Friday, September 2.
