25th Junior Inter-<strong>Club</strong> <strong>Swimming</strong> Championships - 8 November 2009<br />
Harvest Of Personal Best Times!<br />

After going through<br />
rounds of selection, training<br />
and trials, the 55 chosen ones<br />
set out to represent the <strong>Club</strong> at<br />
the JIC. <strong>10</strong> <strong>Club</strong>s competed in<br />
the meet organized this year by<br />
Orchid Country <strong>Club</strong> and Aquatic<br />
Masters Swim Team.<br />
It was heartwarming to see our<br />
swimmers competing neck to<br />
neck with the other competitors.<br />
As usual, there were hits<br />
and misses. We had a few<br />
disqualifications and some of<br />
our swimmers were feeling under<br />
the weather and were not able to<br />
give of their best.<br />
But overall, they did their best<br />
and the results showed. Out<br />
of the 95 swims they took part<br />
in, 71.57% were personal best<br />
times.<br />
Looking forward, we would like<br />
to congratulate all the swimmers<br />
for the good work that they have<br />
done this year, but we must set<br />
our sights on improving our performance<br />
in the years to come.<br />
