Held on Wednesday, 23 rd April 2008 at 11:30 a.m., at BATELCO<br />
headquarters in Hamala (Staff Centre)<br />
Bahrain Telecommunication Company B.S.C. (BATELCO)<br />
Invitation to attend Extra-ordinary General Meeting<br />
The Board of Directors of Bahrain Telecommunication Company (BATELCO) is<br />
pleased invite all shareholders to attend the extra-ordinary general meeting of the<br />
company, which will be held on Wednesday 23 rd April 2008 at 11:30 a.m., at<br />
BATELCO headquarters in Hamala (Staff Centre) to discuss and approve the<br />
following agenda:<br />
1. Permission to read and approve minutes of the previous Extra-ordinary<br />
General Assembly held on 27/2/2008.<br />
2. Approving transfer of shares owned by the government of Bahrain that are<br />
equal to 36.67 % of the total capital of Bahrain Telecommunications<br />
Company B.S.C (BATELCO), to Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company<br />
B.S.C(C) (MUMTALAKAT) in implementation of Decree 64 of 2006<br />
establishing MUMTALAKAT to own government’s shares in companies<br />
stipulated in Article 7 of the Articles of Association attached to the decree.<br />
<strong>Batelco</strong> is covered by the decree.<br />
3. Approving the amendments to the BATELCO Memorandum and Articles of<br />
Association as per the above.<br />
