Judy Turner and HTP
almost every question that arose; Judy knew almost all of
the instructors personally; Judy has a thousand Janet stories;
and Judy can articulately and comprehensively
assess the big picture of HT questions and issues to
manifest a win:win scenario for all parties involved. Judy
has always been there for me during my recent years as
the assistant program director to Janet and as the program
director since May 2005. And she continues to be
there for me as a friend and colleague, despite her formal
resignation.
With heartfelt thanks
to Judy Turner, Director of Program Integrity
A Note from Cynthia Hutchison, HT Program Director
I knew the day would come when Judy would announce to
me that it was time to have more fun and relaxation in her
life (being the joyful and funloving woman that she is), but
I kept hoping that time would be in the distant future long
after the transition period was over and all the things we
hoped to put into place for our students and instructors
would be there.
I am grateful that she shared with you all, the readers of
Energy Magazine, this informal personal story about her
history with Healing Touch. It is written as if she is sitting
down with you and me over a cup of tea. That’s Judy
style….a hug, a heart of friendship, always kind words,
hope and good will. Thank you Judy! Although I miss our
frequent phone calls, I am so delighted that you are relishing
these fine years of your life with the people and experiences
you love so much! E
Judy’s decision to resign before last Christmas was a
bittersweet moment for me. As her friend, I wanted her
to enjoy her life, her relationship, her friends and her
teaching to the fullest extent possible (Judy lives a very
full physical, emotional, mental and spiritual life!). As her
colleague in administration in the HT Program, it was difficult
to give her my blessing to move on because of the
loving, constant and dedicated support she has shown
to me and to the stabalization and advancement of our
beloved program.
Judy always took on projects enthusiastically and with a
great sense of humor; Judy always knew the history of
