HOLY CROSS TRAVEL CLUB<br />
<strong>Come</strong> sail away, fly away, or take a b<strong>us</strong> ride away!<br />
Fr. Michael is pleased to announce the first meeting of the Holy<br />
Cross Travel Club. We will meet Wednesday, Aug<strong>us</strong>t 21 at 7:30<br />
PM in the Atrium.<br />
Would you like to visit the Gr<strong>and</strong> Canyon, sail a cruise ship, take a<br />
b<strong>us</strong> tour up to Maine? These are all possibilities. <strong>Come</strong> to make<br />
suggestions or voice your opinion of where you would like to visit<br />
first, <strong>and</strong> bring a friend!<br />
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION<br />
As of this date, we are still waiting for many families to re-register<br />
their children for Religio<strong>us</strong> Education. As placement is now<br />
beginning, it is VITAL that all families complete all paperwork that<br />
was sent home in April, <strong>and</strong> return it <strong>AS</strong>AP.<br />
Forms can be downloaded from our website, POTHC88.org . We are<br />
also still in need of Catechists in every grade level. Please consider<br />
sharing your faith <strong>with</strong> our children. Thank you.<br />

Reminder: All VBS Helpers from Kingdom Rock who received our invitation to the ice cream party on<br />
Aug<strong>us</strong>t 26th are asked to please respond to <strong>us</strong> as soon as possible. We hope to see you there wearing your<br />
yellow shirts!<br />
HOSPITAL VISITATION<br />
Fr. Michael will make every effort to visit parishioners who have extended stays at<br />
either St. Catherine’s or Stony Brook Hospitals. Please notify the parish office to<br />
request a visit. All hospitals have Catholic chaplains on call to h<strong>and</strong>le emergencies<br />
as well as offering the Anointing of the Sick. If you or a loved one is scheduled for<br />
surgery, please consider celebrating the Sacrament here at Holy Cross prior to<br />
entering the hospital. Contact Fr. Michael to schedule a convenient time.<br />
