Around the City
In the City of North Bay, population 54,000, you can enjoy good
restaurants, movies, downtown amenities and mall shopping, live
theatre, community festivals and events, and a vibrant nightlife.
Whether you feel like a night out dancing, listening to live music,
or just sitting in a pub playing pool and relaxing, the City has
what you are looking for. On campus, the student-run pub and
restaurant, The Wall, is a great place to relax after a long school
day or to catch some prime entertainment.
Getting Around
The City of North Bay provides regularly-scheduled bus service to
our three local campuses, and all full-time students receive a bus
pass for travel from September through April, the cost of which is
included in their tuition.

Outdoor Activity
Our countless lakes, rivers, forests, canoe routes and trail systems
provide endless outdoor activity including: camping, swimming,
hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and a variety of other sports.
The City is nestled between two beautiful lakes, Lake Nipissing
and Trout Lake, presenting limitless water recreation
opportunities. We also have a number of golf courses, parks,
baseball diamonds and soccer fields throughout the city. And, for
the avid jogger, cyclist or in-line skater, the Kate Pace Way and the
Kinsmen Trail combine to offer 28 km of multi-use paved trails
stretching from one end of the City to the other.
