Introduction:<br />
This month Newlynx illustrates <strong>LABEL</strong> <strong>MATRIX</strong> 8.3 installation <strong>and</strong> license activation (applies to softkey license only)<br />
I. Install <strong>and</strong> Running the <strong>Trial</strong> Edition<br />
1. Insert <strong>and</strong> run the <strong>LABEL</strong> <strong>MATRIX</strong> 8.3 Installation CD.<br />
Ensure that Microsoft Data Access 2.5/2.8 is installed<br />
be<strong>for</strong>e installing <strong>LABEL</strong> <strong>MATRIX</strong><br />
3. Start <strong>LABEL</strong><strong>MATRIX</strong>, check “Run as <strong>Trial</strong>/Evaluation”<br />
to run as <strong>Trial</strong>. The trial period expires after 30 days or<br />
running 100 times.<br />
2. Proceed with the installation process by following the onscreen<br />
instructions<br />
4. There are 3 <strong>Trial</strong> editions. To select the <strong>Trial</strong> edition, go to<br />
<strong>Trial</strong> > “edition to run”.<br />
5. Exit <strong>and</strong> restart, <strong>LABEL</strong> <strong>MATRIX</strong> now runs based on the<br />
edition being selected<br />

II. Methods to <strong>Activation</strong> <strong>License</strong><br />
A. Automatic (Recommended) B. Telephone /Website<br />
1. Start <strong>LABEL</strong> <strong>MATRIX</strong>, choose “Activate <strong>License</strong>”. 1. Click Telephone/ Website. Enter the <strong>Activation</strong> code.<br />
Click Automatic (Recommended)<br />
2. Fill in the User Registration <strong>and</strong> click “OK”<br />
2. Provide both <strong>Activation</strong> Code <strong>and</strong> Challenge Code through<br />
phone or email.<br />
3. Enter the Response Code as given<br />
3. Enter the <strong>Activation</strong> Code <strong>and</strong> click “Next”. A message<br />
box will in<strong>for</strong>m the status <strong>for</strong> the activation.<br />
4. The Response Code can also obtained from the Teklynx<br />
website http/www.teklynxfr.com/ala/<br />
