its holding in the <strong>COIF</strong> <strong>Charities</strong> Deposit <strong>Fund</strong> where management fees are charged to<br />

revenue.<br />

5. Taxation<br />

The <strong>Fund</strong> is exempt from UK income and capital gains tax due to its charitable status pursuant<br />

to Part 11 Chapter 3 of the Corporation Tax Act 2010 and Section 256 of the Taxation of<br />

Chargeable Gains Act 1992. Distributions are paid and reinvested revenue credited gross to<br />

unitholders on the basis that all appropriate UK taxation has been both reclaimed and<br />

recovered.<br />
