GEC is working to close out the project. Final balancing change order was approved by the Court on 4/2/13 and the final pay
estimate is being processed. Received TxDOT's acceptance on 4/17/13, effective as of 1/4/13.
Hunter is excavating to subgrade from Inner Loop to the tie-in at the northbound frontage road south of Inner Loop. The Contractor is
placing this material in the fill section south of 2243 for the proposed NBFR. Traffic continues to be one-way on the south side of
Inner Loop. Subcontractor HL Chapman continues the milling to subgrade south of SH 29 and Hunter is placing this material in the
fill section north of the San Gabriel River. Subcontractor McKinney Drilling has completed drilling for drill shafts on the north side of
W. Fork Smith and Hunter has poured all of the shafts for the abutment on the north side of W. Fork Smith. Subcontractor Royal
Vista is installing the 18in RCP on System A north of Inner Loop. TxDOT environmental determined that adding the City of
Georgetown Electric's multi-utility bored crossing south of FM 2243 would require additional environmental clearance if it is in the
construction contract. The Standard Utility Agreement with PAETEC (Windstream) was approved by the Court on 3/19/13 and the
utility is scheduled to begin relocations south of Inner Loop on 4/10/13. Utility agreements with Suddenlink and the City of
Georgetown Electric were approved by the Court on 4/2/13. Verizon relocations are underway. Coordination is ongoing regarding
Atmos’ utility agreement and their contractor is ready to begin relocations as soon as the agreement is executed. PAETEC has
begun design of additional utilities in conflict between Inner Loop and FM 2243 and is anticipated to have a design ready for Hunter
to price installation of the conduit next week. A Temporary Railroad Crossing Agreement was executed between Hunter and
Georgetown Railroad on 3/19/13.
