Ranger began excavating for the pavement widening near the intersection of CR 245 for the addition of left turn lanes. Subcontractor BMP watered for vegetation establishment. Subcontractor Ranger excavated material from area of project between CR 228 and CR 229 and hauled material to the east header of mainlane bridge east of Florence. The Subcontractor processed flex base on the mainlanes south of CR 228 and south of FM 487 and processed subgrade on CR 138 from existing SH 195 to new SH 195. Ranger excavated ditchlines at CR 138 intersection with existing SH 195 and placed topsoil on completed slopes along roadway at various locations on the project. Subcontractor Ramming paved all the ramps and areas of finished flex base east of Florence. James is placing topsoil on the south end of the project to shoulder up the edge of the roadway. From FM 487 to the south, Subcontractor Ranger is placing flex base for the entrance ramp to the new mainlanes. North of FM 487, the contractor has rough cut the turnaround under the bridge, built the ramps from the new FM 138 bridge to SH195 and is placing topsoil on the sides. Ranger is placing flex base from the bridge to SH 195 on the existing roadway section out of Florence. The Subcontractor has excavated down to subgrade in the area for the new bridge at SH 195 and CR 228. Ranger Excavating completed flex base for tie-ins from the new roadway to CR 239 and finished final flex base ahead of priming and paving operations on the new Reagan roadway along CR 239. The Contractor placed topsoil along the newly paved roadway from SH 195 to one mile north and completed flex base and tie-ins to Reagan for the driveways south of the Yearwood tunnel. Subcontractor Greater Austin completed formwork for bridge deck slab on the Dry Berry Creek Bridge located near CR 234 and completed placing forms and poured concrete for Safety End Treatments on various driveway culverts located between CR 239 and CR 234. GAD also began forming & pouring concrete mow strip for the guardrails at the Smalley Branch Bridge. Subcontractor JKB installed culvert pipe for the driveways south of the Yearwood tunnel. Subcontractor Ramming paved Type B asphalt from one half mile north of SH 195 to north of the intersection with CR 239. The first layer of asphalt pavement has been placed from SH 195 to approximately 2 miles north of SH 195. Brazos River Authority’s contractor is boring for installation of steel encasement pipe under existing SH 195 at Shell Road for their waterline relocation. Utility relocation is ongoing from Shell Road to IH 35, with Verizon relocations pending execution of the utility agreement (waiting on TxDOT approval of the determination of eligibility). PEC utility agreement was approved by Court on 3/19/13. CTSUD, LCRA and Georgetown Electric relocations are complete. Brazos Valley River Authority (BRA) relocations began on 2/18/13 and are anticipated to be complete in early May. SH 195 Project 2 (3.4 mi south of SH 138 to south of Ronald Reagan) ROW Acquisition and Utility Coordination ARCADIS TxDOT Managing Design, Letting & Construction of SH 195 Letting is Scheduled for June 2013 EA approved (FONSI re-validated) 12/13/11 A ROW update meeting was held on 4/18/13. All but 3 parcels have been acquired or have PUA. Utility Agreement forms and plans were distributed to CenturyLink (formerly Embarq), Oncor Electric, PEC, CTSUD, LCRA, and SBA. CTSUD's contractor began work on the waterline relocations on 5/1/13. The Court approved PEC's Utility Agreement on 3/19/13 and PEC began clearing for installation of the new wood poles on 5/1/13. Oncor relocations are underway. Centurylink is working on redesign of their relocations. 2006 ROAD BOND PROJECTS Managed by Georgetown FM 1460 North (North of University/Chandler to Quail Valley Drive) ENGINEER Brown & Gay DESIGN BID ESTIMATED CONST. SCHEDULE BID LETTING START FINISH ADVERTISEMENT START FINISH Winter 2012 Dec 2013 By TxDOT TBD, Anticipated in 2015 ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE Due Diligence Investigations Completion Date: TBD PROGRESS - ACTION ITEMS - REMARKS An Interlocal Agreement was approved on 10/9/12 with the City of Georgetown for the development and construction of FM1460 from University Blvd to Quail Valley Dr. The County will provide $4.5M within 60 days of execution of the revised funding agreement between TxDOT and the City and will provide notice to CAMPO & TxDOT that the 2014 CAMPO STP-MM allocation for CSJ 2211-02-026 in the amount of $3,367,580 with a non-Federal share provided by TxDOT of $841,895 to the FM 1460 project will be administered by the City. The City of Georgetown agreed to amend the current AFAs to complete the FM 1460 improvements described above with the City completing PS&E by December 31, 2014 and TxDOT bidding, constructing & inspecting the project. The City will provide all right-of-way & easements, environmental mitigation, and utility conflict resolution for the FM 1460 project to enable a 2015 bidding schedule. The City will provide all construction funding not secured by agreement from other sources for the FM 1460 project to enable a 2015 bidding schedule, and will work with the City of Round Rock and other parties for additional funding through interlocal agreements, developer participation, and other financing methods. * Substantial Completion = Open to Traffic, Minor Construction Items Remain to be Completed Page 5 of 8
