This home grown event is a<br />

staple in the community<br />

with events ranging from<br />

ladies barrel racing to<br />

saddle bronc. This<br />

rodeo is also a great<br />

supporter of the<br />

next generation<br />

of cowboys <strong>and</strong><br />

cowgirls — hosting<br />

junior barrel racing,<br />

stick horse racing,<br />

wild cow milking,<br />

miniature horse racing<br />

<strong>and</strong> other very exciting<br />

events.<br />

Wildwood Bronc<br />

Bustin’<br />

May 29 & 30, 2015<br />

Wildwood Bronc Bustin is the only rodeo of<br />

its kind in Canada. It’s founder Rod Hay,<br />

who is an eight time Canadian champ<br />

<strong>and</strong> 20 time NFR qualifier has brought<br />

together Canadian champions <strong>and</strong><br />

World champions, from the USA <strong>and</strong><br />

Australia. As a Canadian Professional<br />

Rodeo Association event, all the prize<br />

money counts toward the Canadian<br />

Finals Rodeo.<br />

It’s a saddle bronc event only,<br />

with 20 professional cowboys<br />

riding for $18,000<br />

<strong>and</strong> with new<br />

bronc horses<br />

competing for<br />

$5,000 in prize<br />

money.<br />

Bring your boots,<br />

hats <strong>and</strong> trailers<br />

<strong>and</strong> plan to have a<br />

weekend<br />

of fun <strong>and</strong> excitement.<br />

Jessie James Memorial Rodeo<br />

This rodeo, hosted by the <strong>Edson</strong><br />

4-H Multi Club <strong>and</strong> the Yellowhead<br />

Agricultural Society in April, is for<br />

contestants 20 year of age <strong>and</strong> under.<br />
