Minor Baseball (cont.)<br />
INTER-COMMUNITY “A” BASEBALL - Open to Côte Saint-Luc residents only<br />
The Inter-Community “A” baseball program is for the more competitive child who is seeking a challenge <strong>and</strong><br />
wants to travel to other communities to play. Tryouts will start in April. Children who do not qualify for an<br />
inter-community team will have the opportunity to play house league baseball in the appropriate category.<br />
MOSQUITO “A” - born in 2001-2002 - Fee: $150 - This program may be opened up to children born in 2003.<br />
PEEWEE “A” - born in 1999-2000 - Fee: $150<br />
BANTAM “A” - born in 1997-1998 - Fee: $175 (tax incl.)<br />
NOTE: The breakdown in the Inter-Community “A” baseball fees are as follows:<br />
• A $100 player registration fee for all divisions.<br />
• An inter-community division league fee ($50 for Mosquito/Peewee or $75 for Bantam).<br />
This cheque will be returned if the child does not make the inter-community team.<br />
• A separate uniform deposit fee <strong>of</strong> $75 postdated to June 30, <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
The cheque will be returned when the uniform is received at the Parks <strong>and</strong> Recreation Dept.<br />
Cheques are all made payable to ‘‘City <strong>of</strong> Côte Saint-Luc’’.<br />
SCHEDULE:<br />
Games / practices : any given night. League <strong>of</strong>ficially begins on Tuesday, May 1. Semi-Final Day<br />
is on Saturday, June 9. In case <strong>of</strong> rain, Semi-Final Day will be on Sunday, June 10.<br />

Teen S<strong>of</strong>tball League<br />
Côte Saint-Luc <strong>and</strong> Hampstead are <strong>of</strong>fering a joint teen s<strong>of</strong>tball league program. The program will run for<br />
8 weeks including play<strong>of</strong>fs in June. One player representative from each team will be responsible for all<br />
contact with the league, scheduling, etc. Uniforms (t-shirts, caps), bats, balls, catcher’s equipment <strong>and</strong><br />
umpires are included.<br />

TUESDAY BASEBALL PRO CLINICS<br />
All players registered in the Côte Saint-Luc Inter-<br />
Community <strong>and</strong> Minor House League Baseball<br />
programs between grades 2 <strong>and</strong> 8 are invited<br />
to participate in an 8-week baseball clinic on<br />
Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm to 6:45pm at<br />
Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park. This clinic is overseen<br />
by Ray Callari, pro scout for the San Francisco<br />
Giants <strong>and</strong> Eastern Canada Pro Baseball Scout.<br />
The fee to participate in this 8-week clinic is<br />
$60(R) <strong>and</strong> $75(NR). The clinics will run from<br />
April 24 to June 12.<br />

FREE MINOR BASEBALL<br />
PRE-SEASON CLINIC<br />
All players registered in the Côte Saint-Luc<br />
Inter-Community <strong>and</strong> Minor House League<br />
Baseball programs are invited to attend a<br />
free baseball clinic organized by the McGill<br />
Redmen Baseball Team. The McGill Redmen<br />
were natonal champions in 2010 <strong>and</strong> 2006. This<br />
year’s event will take place on Saturday, April<br />
28 from 9am to 2pm at Pierre Elliott Trudeau<br />
Park. Please bring a brownbag lunch to the<br />
clinic. In case <strong>of</strong> rain, the clinic will take place<br />
on Sunday, April 29 at the same times.<br />
