Overbridge: a stepping stone for independence
Our Overbridge service is central to history
of the organisation and many of the people
we support spent time at this, our first ever
service. Andy Murphy, our registered manager
at Overbridge, found out what happened
to the people who spent time there:
“Compiling the names brought back some
memories of the unique people that we have
supported over the year. It’s good to see
that the majority have remained with
Sense Scotland”

Katie S:
Katie now lives
in her own house
in Kelty.
Lesley N:
Lesley moved to a
shared house then
on to her own flat
in Glasgow.
Lewis S:
Lewis moved to a
shared house then
on to his own flat
in Glasgow.
Stephen D:
Stephen moved
into his own house
in Saltcoats,
sharing with his
flatmate.
Robert G:
Robert moved
into his own house
in Coatbridge,
sharing with his
flatmate.
Mark H:
Moved into
his own house
in Coatbridge,
sharing with
his flatmate.
Nicola B:
Nicky moved into
her own house in
Pollok. Sadly she
died in 2005.
Peter T:

with his flatmate.

for a holiday at
Overbridge.
