informational and thought-provoking, providing you with workshops and speakers that
will challenge your assumptions, motivate you and inspire you to seek higher levels of
achievement and success. These conferences have a tradition of attracting a wide variety
of participants, all of whom come together to share their experiences and best practices,
network and cultivate new business relationships. I’m pleased that you’ll be joining us in
St. Louis for what will no doubt be an exciting event!
Executive Director, Airport Minority Advisory Council
On behalf of the AMAC/AMACESP Executive Board, welcome to the Airport Diversity
Conference. Highlights include the Airport Diversity Matchmaker Program to connect
small, minority, and women-owned businesses with prime contractors, procurement
officers and other high-level decision makers. Our “Airport Director’s Vision 20/30 Forum”
will offer a provocative look at what’s ahead in the aviation industry. “The Airport City:
New Opportunities, New Urban Forum” will explore airports as key drivers of regional
growth and economic development. And of course, we’ll offer the workshops and
exhibits that are the hallmark of the conference. We know you’ll leave St Louis inspired,
encouraged, informed – and excited to join us next year for the 2013 Annual Airport
Business Diversity Conference in San Diego!
Diversity Conference
ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
Welcome to the “Gateway to the West!” St. Louis has much to offer, from the infamous
Gateway Arch, to the Delmar Loop - an entertainment mecca, to the exciting casinos. You’ll
be here at the beginning of summer when the warm days and cool nights will encourage you
to walk around and explore. Try our many fine restaurants and wander through Laclede’s
Landing in the downtown historic district for live entertainment. If quiet reflection is more your
style, visit the museums in Forest Park or the Missouri Botanical Gardens. We’re also proud
of the City Museum, the Griot Museum of Black History, and the many other museums our
city boasts. Make the most of the conference, and enjoy your visit!
