Panamera interior with four individual seats
They include Porsche Communication Management
(PCM) to improve vehicle dynamics even further, at
the push of a button.
You’ve got a front-row seat. In all
four spaces.
The first time you sit in any of the new Panamera
models, you can’t help noticing three things. First,
the forward-sloping centre console. Second, the
four individual seats. And third, the amount of room
and freedom of movement in the rear. The main
characteristic of the rear seats is that there are two
separate, individual seats. With plenty of leg and
head room, even for large adults. And excellent side
support, even during dynamic cornering. Comfort has
not been sacrificed. In the middle there is a stowable
middle armrest with a storage box. The backrest can
be adjusted separately to a ratio of 40:60. With the
optional large middle console, both backrests can be
adjusted individually while the console itself remains
fixed.
On request, comfort seats can be installed in the
rear of all new Panamera models. They come with
electronic backrest angle adjustment, seat length
adjustment, lumbar support – and the ability to
adjust the front passenger seat from the rear.
Audio and communication.
The CDR-31 audio system is standard in the
Panamera S and Panamera 4S and has a 7-inch
colour touchscreen monitor featuring fast and easy
scrolling through the most important functions
and menus. Porsche Communication Management
(PCM) comes as standard in the new Panamera
Turbo (optional in the Panamera S and 4S). PCM is
the central controlling unit for audio, navigation and
communication – versatile and efficient – yet easy to
operate. It comprises a navigation module with a quick
hard disk, a high-resolution 7-inch colour touchscreen,
and an optional voice control system. Options for the
middle console include an AUX interface for the PCM,
a USB port and a separate iPod ® port. You can also
choose to have a hybrid TV tuner installed to receive
unencrypted analogue and digital television. The
optional quad-band GSM telephone module is very
user-friendly with optimised speech quality. Either
insert your SIM card directly into the SIM card reader
integrated into the PCM and telephone using the
hands-free facility or a cordless receiver. Or, even
more conveniently, use the Bluetooth ® connection
on your mobile phone and the SIM Access Profile
(SAP). In addition, mobile phones that support
Handsfree Profile (HFP) can also be connected using
Bluetooth ® . The Panamera sets new standards for
sound systems too. The optional BOSE ® Surround
Sound System (standard in Panamera Turbo)
produces excellent sound quality. For those with the
highest demands in sound, technology and design
there is also the option of equipping the vehicle with
the Burmester ® High-End Surround Sound-System
– with both CDR-31 and PCM.
Rear: plenty of room. Right at the
back: even more room.
Room for four adults with their luggage in a Gran
Turismo? Yes, it’s possible. Only with Porsche. The
luggage compartment in the new Panamera models
has a volume of up to 445 litres. That’s enough for
four suitcases of different sizes – all of which you
can find in the Porsche Design Driver’s Selection
product line, matched to the exterior colour of your
vehicle, if you choose. Unusual in this vehicle class
are the rear seats that can be folded completely
or in sections. Folding them gives you a total of
1,263 litres of storage volume. The total useful
load of the Panamera S is 605 kg, the Panamera 4S
580 kg and the Panamera Turbo up to 530 kg.
