“Plunge Tips”
Wear your plunging suit under the clothes you wear to the event -

Choose your “Plunge Day” outfit (or post-Plunge gear) with this in mind - you will be cold
and possibly numb, so loose-fitting, easy-on clothes without a lot of snaps, zipper or button
are best. When your fingers and toes don’t work so well, it’s not so easy to get some of that
stuff back on!
Bring a loose pair of shoes to wear after the Plunge - that will slip easily –like flip flops
Banners to Show your team spirit
Costumes and Mascots if you wish
Extra Clothing to keep you warm
A Plastic Bag for wet clothes
Two large towels; one to dry off with
and one to stand on
River Shoes/ Crocs -going into the water (concrete is very cold on bare feet)
Clean, dry under garments to wear after Plunging
A disposable, waterproof camera that you can carry into the Plunge Zone with you...feel
free to ask a fellow Plunger to capture your big moment on film
Permission slip signed by parent or guardian if under 18 and waiver signed if over 18.
