Also, the chunks of New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming were reapportioned to the Southwest (New Mexico) and Midwest (Colorado and Wyoming) Districts at the National convention, to conform to state borders. 4 The election for Member at Large resulted in a tie. Since there was no solution in the bylaws to solve the tie situation, both candidates were given the position and served as co-Members at Large. 5 At the National Convention in this year, it was decided to appoint co-governors for the Western District. There have been two ever since.
