light immediately joins the visual spectrum, at the high
end. X-rays, higher yet, have wavelengths of the
approximate size of atoms and originate in the
rearrangement of the innermost electrons in atoms.
The Gamma rays are the electromagnetic waves of
highest frequency (and therefore the shortest
wavelength) and they originate in the rearrangement
of the particles within the atomic nucleus itself. How
does our universe appear at these different
frequencies?
