Botanical Name:
Rosa canina
Common Names:
Brier hip, dog brier fruit, dog rose fruit,
hipberries, witches brier, hip tree, hip
fruit, hop fruit
Parts used:
Fruit
Active Components:
Contains flavonoids and tannins.
Looks like:
The plant is a 1 to 3 m high shrub with
hanging branches. The pink flower
along with the deepening receptacle
form a cup that eventually grows into
the scarlet "rosehip". The ripen fruit is
dried in the air, sun, or in drying plants.

I have a passion to help people with
herbal alternatives whenever they are
faced with taking medicine. I have been

cultivated.
History:
The dried fruit was used in folk medicine
for digestive problems, urinary
tract and kidney disorders, rheumatism,
gout, colds, and febrile conditions.
Use:
Rosehip is usually taken for its vitamin
C content and therefore suitable in vitamin-C
deficiency. It is used for colds,
intestinal conditions (such as constipation)
and indigestion. It may be also
used as a diuretic and to increase capillary
strength.

"Persistence in my Akuna business
brings health and wealth," says new
Division Leader, Eugenia Musko,
from New York, USA
I was involved with another Multi Level
Marketing company before, but when I
started my business with Akuna more
than a year ago, I did not fully realize
what an important milestone in my life
Akuna would become. At first I used
Alveo myself and later I recommended it
to my friends. I was often bringing up
Akuna and Alveo in my conversations
with them. I consider Akuna and Alveo
as a big opportunity which continues to
grow. Moreover, Multi Level Marketing
RND Ludmila Marciniak, the leader of
the Winnipeg organization, was trained
by Polish Vice Presidents Julian
Kowalski, Ryzsard Cybulski, Janusz
Gabryniewski and his wife Leokadia.
After coming to Canada, she started
drinking Alveo together with her father,
who was then seriously ill. Later, she
formed her own team of distributors.
She educated them
about Alveo, how to use and
promote it, what herbs it contains
and how it works in the
body. She had this knowledge
from attending seminars held
by Dr. Khoshbin and Dr.
Bertlik in Poland, which she
visited in two consecutive
years. She learnt about the
usefulness of food supplements
and Alveo.
Her Winnipeg organization
holds large meetings twice a
year with Dr. Khoshbin, Dr.
Bertlik and Akuna Canada
Manager Pavel Semik, where
everyone learns about Alveo
and Akuna’s business opportunity. She
also has the support of Akuna's
President Zdenka Forst and Vice
President Michael Forst. In Ludmila's
team, there are people from different
ethnic backgrounds, such as India,
Russia, Poland, Spain, the Philippines,
and Korea. She also sponsors people
from Turkey, Germany, England, Poland,
Ukraine, and the USA.

Beginning in January 2007, she will
organize monthly meetings on the marketing
plan and marketing strategy and
will teach distributors how to promote
Alveo, how to contact people and how

organization in Winnipeg
to motivate them.
“Discuss Alveo and Akuna with your
family because you will need their support
especially at the beginning,” she
says. The first person she sponsored
was her son, RND Marcin Marciniak,
who lives in Poland. As he receives a
car bonus from Akuna, he has no problem
visiting his groups in Germany and
Austria.
Ludmila's goal is to become a Vice
experience I can explain to people what
a priceless product Alveo is. I mean its
health benefits as well as the possibilities
it offers after becoming a distributor.
I tell people about this great product and
the business. When someone just
begins in this field, I stress not to give
up and to go forward. Success will
come - persistence in my Akuna business
brings health and wealth at the
same time.
Akuna's marketing plan is excellent. In
my Akuna business I have the invaluable
support of my husband and my
son. They both help me in achieving my
goals and ambitions.
