Princely Ifinedo is currently an Associate Professor of MIS/Mgt. Sci. at <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>Breton</strong> <strong>University</strong><br />
(CBU), Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. He received his tertiary education in three continents. He<br />
holds a doctoral degree in Information Systems (IS) (graded: Eximia Cum Laude Approbatur)<br />
from the <strong>University</strong> of Jyväskylä, Finland, master’s degrees from Royal Holloway, <strong>University</strong><br />
of London, UK and Tallinn <strong>University</strong> of Technology, Estonia, bachelor’s degree from the<br />
<strong>University</strong> of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria, and a diploma in education from the <strong>University</strong> of British<br />
Columbia, Canada.<br />
Dr Ifinedo’s teaching philosophy is informed by the nurturing and developmental theories. His<br />
research draws mainly from the positivist tradition and he conducts studies at the national,<br />
regional, organizational, and individual levels. His current research deals with IS security<br />
management issues, ERP system success measurement, human-computer interaction, IS/IT<br />
adoption in SMEs and healthcare, e-commerce, e-government, e-learning, and global IT<br />
management. His research has received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities<br />
Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada.<br />
He has contributed chapters to several books/encyclopedias and presented his works at many<br />
international conferences. He has won Best Track Paper and Best Conference Paper awards at<br />
conferences such as the 14 th. Americas’ Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), Toronto,<br />
Canada, 2008; the 22 nd. International Conference on Production Research (ICPR), Iguassu Falls,<br />
Brazil, 2013; the 44 th. Annual Atlantic Schools of Business (ASB) Conference, Halifax, Canada,<br />
2014, and the 27 th. International Business Research Conference (IBRC), Toronto, Canada.<br />
As of October, 2014, he has authored (and co-authored) about 110 publications, which have<br />
appeared in several peer-reviewed outlets. Dr. Ifinedo has published over 42 journal papers and<br />
3 books. His research articles have been published in high quality peer-reviewed journals<br />
including Infor. & Mgt., ISM, DATA BASE, JCIS, IJITDM, JSS, CIT, JISP, CHB, JOCEC,<br />
JITM, IMDS, EIS, JITD, JITM, JGTIM, EG, and Internet Research. His works have been<br />
indexed in directories such as ISI <strong>Web</strong> of Knowledge, Microsoft Academic Search, Scopus<br />
(Elsevier), and Google Scholar. He referees for such journals as EJIS, JSIS, DATA BASE, IJIM,<br />
