Sources of Funding
The Westmont Hilltop School District received funding from both federal and state sources and
publicizes receipt. The following is a listing of funding from 2012-2013 school year.
FEDERAL FUNDING SOURCES 2012-2013
Title I helps to fund our elementary Title I program. $256,079
Title II provides a portion of an extra teacher’s salary $37,650
in the elementary school, which helps with class size reduction.
Accountability Block Grant $48,681
funds early childhood initiatives and the
implementation of full-day kindergarten.
IDEA helps with special education staffing and $176,350
related support services for children.
KtO (Keystones to Opportunity) $105,957
funds special programs for children
from birth to age 5 before kindergarten.
Senior Residents
Have V.I.P. Status
Each year we are pleased to acknowledge and thank
senior residents for their contributions to our educational
system. Our Senior VIP (Very Important Person)
community members cheer in our stadiums, encourage
our youth, and support our educational processes in a
myriad of ways. The VIP program passes are one way we
try to accomplish that goal. Seniors enjoy free admission
to all school-related athletic events. The only exceptions
are hockey games played at the Cambria County War
Memorial and the annual musical. If you are a senior
resident, age 62 or older, you are eligible for a VIP pass.
To obtain yours, please contact the district office at
814-255-6751.
