The Follower ............... Metaphor (5.01)
Everywhere I go
There’s something trailing behind
Following my every footstep
It remains deep in my mind
Every second every minute every hour
Every moment of the day
It follows me extra carefully
As if I’m awaited prey
Will it ever follow another
Or cease to be seen or show
It is a weight I am constantly pulling
But it’s kind of sad you know
Unlucky Worm ........... Personification (5.02)
There once was a little worm
Who wanted to eat a pickle
So he started toward the store
And brought along a nickel
It would take weeks to get there
But it would be worth the wait
He had to make sure he hurried
Before it was to late
He finally got there after a long while
Picked the perfect pickle and payed
He had his pickle at last
And knew his day was made
As soon as he left the store
A bird swooped down like a plane
And snatched the pickle right out of his mouth
And was never seen again
