More Award-Winning Recipes A Few Good Interns Cornerstone Success Our internship program is expanding. This year, we utilized 12 skilled interns in the following areas: wish granting, special events, branding & communications, donor relations, and volunteer services. This year, board members Todd Linden and Michael Ortega, along with supporters Andy Sklawer and Josh Mandel hosted our most successful Cornerstone Society reception, raising nearly $200,000. It’s on the House They Like Us We now share our mission with more than 12,000 Facebook fans (www.facebook.com/ makeawishsfla) and 1,700 Twitter followers (www.twitter.com/makeawishsfla). This year, we brought video projects in-house, saving more than $55,000, which was used to grant wishes. Royal Highness Thanks to Royal Caribbean International®, we received our largest corporate donation in our 26-year history - $800,000 which granted 160 terrific wishes.
