Volunteers
There are never too many cooks in the wish kitchen. We are fortunate
to have more than 550 volunteers who have a hand in each wish that
we grant. We are grateful to our volunteers for each bringing their own
signature spice to the table to help make wishes come true.
“Being a part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation has
been one of the best things I’ve done in my life. Not
only do I get to make a difference in kids and their
families’ lives, but they have had a huge impact on
mine. They inspire me every day with their strength
and courage. It has been such an honor to be a small
part of this wonderful organization.”
“It is incredible to meet children that are brave enough
to bear all the difficulties that an illness brings and
bringing to life a special wish for them. It fills my heart
with joy.”
“I think there is no greater foundation that goes
above and beyond to make each and every wish
experience special and unforgettable. I feel the
most happiness and fulfillment when I follow up
with a wish child and their family. In that moment,
nothing else matters. but making someone smile.”
“Wish children have been through so much and having
a dream come true can let the child feel happy and
forget about everything else they have to go through.
There is nothing in this world better than seeing a child
truly and completely happy and knowing you played a
part in that is just an amazing feeling.”
