An acid-free passivator!
Flash clouds or smut, seen as brown staining, can occasionally
appear on any stainless steel surface after pickling.
Passivating with Avesta FinishOne Passivator 630 eliminates
these spots with ease, restoring the surface.
Avesta FinishOne Passivator 630 is aimed for a wide-range
of industrial passivating applications. It offers a good general
passivating result on stainless steel surfaces.
It is suitable for applications such as:
– Passivation after pickling
– Passivation after mechanical treatments such as grinding,
brushing, blasting etc
– Removal of free iron (smut)
– Reducing the formation of toxic nitric fumes during
pickling
– Preventing water staining caused by poor rinse water.

Instructions for use

1.1 To avoid smut formation after spray pickling the Passivator
shall be applied before rinsing while the surface is still wet, “wet
on wet”. Leave the fluid to react 10–15 min.
1.2 To passivate after mechanical treatment, first pre-clean the
surface using Avesta Cleaner 401, rinse with water, then apply
the passivator “wet on wet”, and give it 3–5 min. to react.
1.3 To use for reduction of nitric fumes ,when pickling, spray it on
as a mist over the surface “wet on wet”.
2. Apply the Passivator with an acid-resistant pump, e.g. Avesta
Membrane Pump SP-25 or Hand Pump 415.
3. Working time. See 1.
4. Rinse thoroughly with water, preferably with high-pressure
water jet. No need to treat the waste water which is neutral and
acid-free.
Packaging
Avesta FinishOne Passivator 630 is supplied in 25 kg,
and 1000 kg polyethylene drums/containers.

Storage
Avesta FinishOne Passivator 630 should be stored
indoors at room temperature. Containers must be kept
properly closed, in an upright position and inaccessible
to unauthorised persons. Keep the lid on at all times,
when not in use. Metals, alkaline, organic materials, heat
and UV-radiation will degrade the product. Store in a
clean, cool and dark environment. Avoid contact with
textiles. Avoid contact with eyes, in case of contact rinse
immediately with plenty of water. Can give temporary
and harmless skin bleach.
Worker safety
Protective clothing. Users should wear gloves and eye
protection.

Пассиватор предназначен для обработки

механической обработки (шлифовка, полировка и

Пассиватор не содержащий кислот. Предназначен
для широкого круга применения в промышленности.
Рекомендуется для обработки поверхностей из
нержавеющих сталей. Устраняет пятна обжига,
копоть, пятна, появляющиеся после протравки.
Форма поставки: полиэтиленовые канистры – 25 кг.
