Ihad no choice now butto try and
everyone told m e itw ould be sheer
the Iines to 'Gaia'
The captain realized the boatwas
but it w as a chance w or'th taking.
Howeveritw as notto be,as Iw ent
Everyone aboard the ship ralied round
So there w e recovered,sheltered
from the storm aboard w hat
After1w o days we arrived in
w hich w ere printed in the 'Telegraph'
to any vesselknow ing electrics and
the sealAs forthisstatement about
lasting anotherhour,the boatwas
found one w eek Iaterby the French
fishing boat 'La Neduleuse'and towed
to the French porlofCam aret.She
notonly survived the storm Ieftto
herow n devices butwas com ing
back to us as she was drifting dow n
Biscay tow ards Spain.
Chrissie and Iw ere in Bilbao.W e
had a trem endous am ountof
generosity and sym pathy from the
people.W e are m usicians and as we
had hardly any m oney w e took to
playing on the streets and w ere
nothing could replace the feeling of
received the calfrom the British
Consulteling us thatthe boathad
been found,we could hardly believe
