Ihad no choice now butto try and
everyone told m e itw ould be sheer
the Iines to 'Gaia'
The captain realized the boatwas
reluctantly to try tow ing the boatto
Bilbao,his destinationlbutfrankly he
did notthink she would stand the
voyage being tow ed at 15-18 knots.
but it w as a chance w or'th taking.
Howeveritw as notto be,as Iw ent
a hurricane Iam p,alightand still
hanging from the rigging.1stood
there and cried and cried,stillunable
to believe aI1thathad happened these
Everyone aboard the ship ralied round
So there w e recovered,sheltered
from the storm aboard w hat
notonly survived the storm Ieftto
Chrissie and Iw ere in Bilbao.W e
had a trem endous am ountof
