Dental stones are the preferred material for the
production of all dental models. Sometimes, however,
due to technical needs, other materials, like
resins, are required.
Without any doubt, the best type of resin for the
fabrication of dental models is the polyurethanic
resin. This type of resin, in fact, exhibits both
high strength and high accuracy (no dimensional
change, as our Chemi-Implant extra-hard dental
stone [p. 3] ). This properties allow an accurate
reproduction of the patients’ dentition.
After a challenging research, we developed a good
quality polyuretanic resin for the construction of
dental models.
To reach the Techincians’ needs, we packaged our
resin in disposable jars preweighted to make one
single model at a time. These jars speed up the
working time and prevent the waste of product
usually produced both by bigger packagings and
by the accidental errors that can be made when
dosing the resin components.
Benché il gesso costituisca il materiale di base per
la realizzazione di tutti i modelli dentali in odontotecnica,
è talvolta necessario, per particolari esigenze
tecniche, utilizzare materiali diversi come
le resine per modelli.
Tra tutte le resine per modelli attualmente in commercio,
sicuramente la resina poliuretanica è da
considerarsi la migliore, poiché, unendo un' alta
resistenza meccanica ad una precisione pressoché
assoluta (assenza di retrazione, come il nostro
gesso Chemi–Implant), permette la realizzazione di
un modello fedelissimo all’ impronta del dentista.
La Chemident, dopo un impegnativo lavoro di ricerca,
ha messo a punto una resina poliuretanica
per modelli di buona qualità.
Per venire incontro alle esigenze dei Laboratori,
la Chemident ha confezionato la resina in barattolini
di vetro, chiusi a tenuta stagna, predosati e
monouso. Questo confezionamento permette di
creare con facilità e velocemente anche un solo
modello alla volta, senza sprechi o rimanenze,
che spesso sono soggette a deperimento.
