OPENING PRAYER
Allow a few moments for silent prayer so students may use I John 1:9, if necessary to
assure fellowship with God and the filling of the Holy Spirit as they study.
Thank You, heavenly Father, for the comfort your Word provides. When we study the
Bible diligently, it becomes clear that the answers to life’s problems are within its pages.
As we store the truth in our souls, may we rely on the truth in Your Word and live our
lives in the light of eternity. We thank You for young people who love you and want to
know the truth that sets them free. In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.
REVIEW
Vocabulary
God’s mark or seal: The sign of God’s ownership and the care, concern and protection
that goes with it.
The beast’s mark or seal: Satan’s sign of ownership, yet without care, concern or
protection.
The number of the beast: 666.
Six = the number of man.
Three = the number of God.
Three sixes tell us there is a man passing himself off as God
Counterfeit: a copy of the original, made with a deliberate intent to defraud.
Three main events of the Tribulation: first event: a peace treaty between the Jews
and Antichrist. Middle event: the beast’s image in the temple. Final event: the final
battle at Armageddon.
Help students fill in the three main events on a Tribulation Timeline. Teacher could
encourage review and place symbols on timeline as students recall them or, allow
students to choose large symbols, place them in correct spot on large, classroom timeline
and explain. Leave symbols on the board during the lesson. As the lesson is taught,
place the Evangelism symbols in their correct places on the timeline.

THE TRIBULATION
Salvation during the Tribulation ~ Evangelism during the Tribulation REVELATION 14:1-7
3
Summary
God’s grace is in operation throughout time. Even in the Tribulation (a time
of God’s wrath and judgment) grace abounds. First, there is judgment
upon Israel. Second, there is judgment upon the world. Third, there is
judgment upon Satan and those who follow him. In the Tribulation, God, is
purifying His creatures and His creation in preparation for the personal
rule of His Son as Earth’s King. Yet, people still have a chance to be saved
by grace. At all times, God offers the opportunity (a ―Fair Shake‖) for
salvation. Salvation remains the same in every age—faith in the Lord Jesus
Christ (ROMANS 1:1-5). Salvation is available to anyone who WILL
receive it as a gift.
God promised Israel 490 more years before they would be purified from
apostasy and sin and restored to prominence and honor. The clock started
ticking with a decree to rebuild and restore Jerusalem in 445 B.C.
(NEHEMIAH 2:5) The clock stopped ticking after only 483 years: seven
years short of the promised total. Seven years are missing. Where could
they be?
Read DANIEL 9:24-27. Advise students to keep their Bibles open to
that portion of Scripture as you explain the chart. Teacher should be
aware of the following points and explain to students: the word ―weeks‖ as
used in this passage comes from a Hebrew word meaning ―sevens‖, because
there are seven days in a week. ―Seventy weeks‖ then, literally means 70
times 7, which equals 490 years (calculate the math on the board).
DANIEL’S SEVENTY WEEKS
DANIEL 9:24-27
“To end the apostasy of the Jews, to make an end of sin.”
The 490 years (70 X 7 years) God promised Israel, began with
Artaxerxes Longimanus’ decree on March 14, 445 B.C. (Nehemiah 2:5) to
restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the walls are actually rebuilt. .
1. From issue of the
decree until the walls
were actually rebuilt.
49 years (Neh. 2:5; Dan.
9:24).
DANIEL’S 70 WEEKS DIVIDE INTO THREE SECTIONS
2. The time from the
completion of the walls to
the cross in 30 A.D.
434 years. Daniel 9:26).
7 Years are
missing (Daniel
9:27).
(49 + 434 = 483)
483 is 7 years short of 490 years. Where can those seven years be?

4 REVELATION is NOT a Mystery—TEACHER’S GUIDE FUTURE
DANIEL 9:27 mentions 7 years and tells us where they are located in
human history.
DANIEL 9:27 And he (Antichrist) will make a
firm covenant (the peace treaty Antichrist signs with
the Jews, marking the beginning of the Tribulation)
with the many (the Jews) for one week (7 years).
Antichrist’s signing of the peace treaty confirms the Tribulation as the
missing time. The Tribulation is part of the Jewish Age and it lasts
seven years.
SONG: To the tune of , “Where Oh Where Has My Little Dog gone?”
“Where Oh where have those seven years gone?
Where Oh where can they be?
I’ve searched the Scriptures, so I can say,
It’s not a mystery to me!”
“Where Oh where have those seven years gone?
Where Oh where can they be?
The Tribulation is seven years long,
That’s where they are, don’t you see?”
Point to the seven-year Tribulation on timeline.
Teacher should personally review the following verses prior to
teaching lesson: DANIEL 9:27; REVELATION 11:3-12;
REVELATION 19 and 20. Share verses with class as desired.
I. THE TRIBULATION
A. SALVATION DURING THE TRIBULATION
1. DEFINITION OF SALVATION
a. To be delivered from something bad unto something good.
Webster’s Concise Illustrated Dictionary (1941) defines salvation as
“spiritual deliverance from sin and death”.
b. Spiritual delivery comes from God.

A.
A. a.
THE TRIBULATION
Salvation during the Tribulation ~ Evangelism during the Tribulation REVELATION 14:1-7
5
2. GOD’S DEFINITION OF SALVATION
a. In the Biblical sense, eternal, spiritual salvation refers to delivery
from eternity in the lake of fire, unto perfection and peace in heaven.
It is salvation from eternal death unto eternal life.
b. Sinners may be saved from the Lake of Fire (JOHN 3:16) and taken
to heaven to live in perfection with God and Jesus Christ, forever. The
sole condition for salvation is faith alone in Christ alone as the sinner’s
personal substitute.
ISAIAH 53:6b But the Lord has caused the
iniquity of us all to fall on Him (our sin was placed
on Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ paid the debt we owe for
sin and offers the gift of salvation to all).
ROMANS 5:8, 9 But God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us (in our place, as our
substitute). Much more then, having now been
justified by His blood (Christ’s work on the cross as
our substitute), we shall be saved from the wrath
(judgment in time and final destination of the
unbeliever in the lake of fire) of God through Him
(because of faith in Jesus Christ).
I PETER 2:21 For you have been called for this
purpose, since Christ also suffered for you (in
your place), leaving you an example for you to
follow in His steps (that is, follow His plan for your
life as He followed His Father’s plan for His life).
b. Salvation is available during the Tribulation. The Tribulation is a
time for judgment and purification, but God never changes, He is
always a God of justice, love and grace. God offers salvation in every
age. Many are saved during the Tribulation.
3. NECESSARY MESSAGE OF SALVATION
Since man’s fall in the Garden, human beings have been born
unable to save themselves from the Lake of Fire. All men are not

6 REVELATION is NOT a Mystery—TEACHER’S GUIDE FUTURE
equally bad (some are worse than others) but all humans are equally
“bad off” and helpless before a Holy God. Man, by his nature, desires
independence from God.
ISAIAH 53:6a All of us like sheep have gone
astray, Each of us has turned to His own way.
ROMANS 3:10–18 ... there is none righteous, not
even one; There is none who understands, There
is none who seeks for God; All have turned
aside, together they have become useless; There
is none who does good, There is not even one.
ROMANS 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God.. (Christ is the ―glory of God.‖
because He is God. No man is as perfect or as good as
God).
b. Scripture explains how God solved the problem of man’s
helplessness to save himself. Anyone who believes Jesus Christ took
his sins upon Himself and paid the penalty (Spiritual death) is saved
and receives eternal life as a gift.
ROMANS 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but
the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus
our Lord.
ROMANS 3: 25 - 28; Hebrews 2: 17; I John 2:2.
5) Song: ―When You Think of Christ’s True Love‖. (To the tune of ―When
You Wish Upon A Star‖) Words and music in Student Workbook and/or
Teacher’s Appendix OR ―Jesus Paid it All‖ p. 125, ―Great Hymns of the
Faith‖.
Paraphrase of a familiar verse in the Gospel of John should, also,
help us understand.
JOHN 3:16 (Paraphrased version) For I am convinced that God loved
(impersonally and unconditionally) the whole world of mankind so
much and in such a way that He gave his uniquely born Son that
whoever (anyone who) believes in Him will not perish in the lake of
fire, but has, right now (as a permanent possession), eternal Life
(God’s life that lasts forever).

THE TRIBULATION
Salvation during the Tribulation ~ Evangelism during the Tribulation REVELATION 14:1-7
7
4. THE GIFT OF EVANGELISM
a. God’s Holy Spirit bestows the gift of evangelism.
1) The gift of evangelism is a divine ability to draw a crowd, keep the
attention of the crowd, present a clear Gospel message and receive
positive responses beyond the ordinary. The Holy Spirit passes out the
gift of evangelism to men as He sees fit.
I CORINTHIANS 12:11 But one and the same
Spirit works all these things, distributing to each
one, individually just as He wills.
EPHESIANS 4:11 And He (the Holy Spirit) gave
some as apostles, and some as prophets and
some as evangelists, and some as pastors and
teachers...
2) This verse refers to men who possess spiritual gifts being “given” to
other believers. In other words, MEN with the gift of evangelism are
gifts from God to other human beings.
b. The gift of evangelism is recognized in the Church Age.
1) The Church Age recognizes evangelism as a gift from God.
Evangelists obviously have something extra that draws greater
responses. A pastor or another believer might use the same words and
receive less positive responses than one with the gift of evangelism.
c. Tribulation evangelists.
Tribulation evangelists’ abilities are even more pronounced than those
of Church Age evangelists.
B. EVANGELISM IN THE TRIBULATION
1. DURING FIRST HALF OF TRIBULATION
a. 144,000 Jewish Evangelists.
Place the 144,000 symbol between the Treaty symbol and the symbol of the

8 REVELATION is NOT a Mystery—TEACHER’S GUIDE FUTURE
image of Antichrist, designating the first half of the Tribulation.
1) Since all believers are removed at the Rapture,144,000 Jewish
witnesses are saved early and evangelize during the first half of the
Tribulation. They are sealed and protected by God in a recognizable
way.
2) These Evangelists (REVELATION 7: 3 -8), 12,000 Jews from
each of the twelve tribes of Israel, are protected by the seal of God
throughout the Tribulation. They proclaim the gospel, clearly and
many people believe and are saved. They flee to the hills at the sight of
the idol of Antichrist in the temple (obeying God’s command). They
go, alive, into the Millennium.
3) When the 144,000 witnesses flee to the hills at the sight of the idol
in the temple, a vacancy occurs in the office of prophet-evangelist in
the city of Jerusalem for the second half of the Tribulation.
MATTHEW 24:15–18 Therefore when you see
the ABOMINATION OF (leading to)
DESOLATION (the image of Antichrist in the
temple) which was spoken of through Daniel, the
prophet, standing in the holy place (let the
reader understand), then let those who are in
Judea flee to the mountains.
b. Destiny of 144,000.
REVELATION Chapters 13 and 14 describe two different earthly
harvests and vividly present the contrast between good and evil. In
Revelation 13:16 two beasts reap an evil harvest over unbelieving
souls. In Chapter 14:14-19, Jesus Christ reaps a victorious harvest.
REVELATION 14:1 And I looked, ( Notice John is
still using his eye-gate. John is still fully and
completely occupied with what Jesus Christ is
revealing) and behold (look at that awesome sight)
the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion (on earth);
and with Him one hundred and forty four
thousand (144,000 Jewish Witnesses, who lived all the
way through the Tribulation), having His name and
the name of His Father written on their
foreheads (they were marked out and protected by
God).

THE TRIBULATION
Salvation during the Tribulation ~ Evangelism during the Tribulation REVELATION 14:1-7
9
Display Mount Zion and the Lamb symbols.
Gaebelein p.78 ―This chapter brings now fully into view the Satanic powers
operating during the great tribulation – the forty-two months. Satan’s
masterpieces are on earth; energized by him and endued with his powers
they work together to stamp out all that is left of the truth on earth. Their
combined efforts are directed against the Godly remnant of Jews and against
those Gentiles who accepted the message of the Gospel of the kingdom, who
are seen in the seventh chapter emerging out of the great tribulation.‖
c. Standing with the Lamb.
1) Notice that 144,000 Sheep are standing with the Lamb. They are
not standing with a counterfeit lamb, a wolf in sheep’s clothing such as
the false prophet, they are standing with God’s Lamb, Jesus Christ,
who is more than a precious Lamb. He is, also, the Shepherd of the
flock: the Good Shepherd, the Chief Shepherd and the Great Shepherd
who has given His life for His sheep.
2) Both the Lamb and His 144,000 protected evangelists are on Mount
Zion after the Tribulation. Mount Zion is positively, definitely,
without a doubt located on earth. The Lamb is standing on a real
mountain outside Jerusalem ... and with him are 144,000 living, Jewish
evangelists. Christ has returned and the Jewish witnesses are alive with
Him on earth. This is a view of Christ’s Second Advent.
3) The 144,000 are those “purchased” from the earth, as all believers
are “purchased” from the slave market of sin by Christ’s work on the
cross. They belong to Jesus, who paid the ransom price. Jesus protects
the 144,000 witnesses through the Tribulation. They enter Christ’s
Millennial Kingdom alive at the Second Advent, purified from sin and
restored to a place of honor.
Point to the time of the Second Advent on a timeline.
4) Having His name and the name of His Father written on their
foreheads refers to the seal of God on the 144,000 witnesses. The head
or forehead stands for the thinking part of man, where the soul is
located. The 144,000 belong to Jesus and they think from a heavenly
viewpoint.
REVELATION 14:2 And I (John) heard a voice
from heaven, like the sound of many waters and
like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice
which I (John) heard was like the sound of
harpists playing on their harps.

10 REVELATION is NOT a Mystery—TEACHER’S GUIDE FUTURE
5) We have heard of this voice before. There is no doubt about its
owner: the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. His voice is now
sweetly musical, again. It is no longer like a thunderous war trumpet.
REVELATION 14:3 And they (those in heaven)
sang a new song, before the throne and before
the four living creatures and the elders; and no
one could learn the song except the one hundred
and forty four thousand who had been
purchased from the earth.
6) Though still on earth, the 144,000 witnesses learn the song sung by
the heavenly chorus. The souls in heaven sing the new song and the
144,000 on earth join the heavenly chorus. Everyone in heaven sings,
but only the 144,000 on earth are able to join them. The 144,000 are
mature believers. They have been faithful and they appreciate what
Christ did to purchase them. They wish to give Him glory.
7) The song recognizes God’s LOVE and GOODNESS in direct
rebuttal to Satan’s accusation that God is not good and loving. The
earthly evangelists sing in God’s defense in the angelic conflict.
PSALM 107 provides a clue as to the words of the song.
PSALM 107: 1, 2 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for
He is good; For His loving kindness is
everlasting. Let the redeemed (The purchased
ones) of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed
from the hand of the adversary (from Satan’s
grasp)...
8) Song: “Heaven, Heaven, Won’t you join us in Heaven?” Words
and music included in lesson, Student Songbook or Teacher’s
Appendix. Or, “NOW I BELONG TO JESUS”, Great Hymns of the
Faith, p. 487
9) In REVELATION 7:3-8, God sealed 144,000 Jewish Witnesses
and promised to protect them through the Tribulation. Well, here they
are, standing in their natural bodies, on earth at Christ’s Second
Coming. This is the event called the separation of the Sheep and the
goats. The 144,000 are part of the sheep (believers). In the event
known as “the baptism of fire” the goats (living unbelievers) are sent
to Torments, in the center of the earth to await the Great White Throne

THE TRIBULATION
Salvation during the Tribulation ~ Evangelism during the Tribulation REVELATION 14:1-711
Judgment at the end of the Millennium.
Students should understand the separation of sheep and goats occurs at the
end of the Tribulation and the 144,000 Jewish witnesses are part of those
referred to as ―sheep‖ in this event. All living believers of the Tribulation go
into the Millennium in their physical bodies. Living unbelievers go to
Torments in the center of the earth to await their final transfer to the Lake of
Fire.
Use visuals to explain the separation of the sheep and goats and identify the
Baptism of Fire. (Visuals in Teacher’s Appendix) Name each part and allow
questions. Also, use Sheol-Hades Chart at end of lesson. This chart may be
copied and distributed to students. It may be enlarged for class display.
d. Not one has been lost.
1) Here, is another great truth: the Great Shepherd takes care of His sheep. At the
beginning of the Tribulation, the Shepherd watches over a flock of 144,000 sheep
and seven years later the Shepherd stands on earth with the same flock of sheep.
2) Now, let me ask you a question. How many sheep does the Shepherd have with
Him? Are there 143,000 sheep standing on Mount Zion with Jesus Christ? Are
there only 140,000? No! What does the Scripture say? (Note: REVELATION
14:1. Students should turn there and follow in their Bibles as Teacher reads.)
JESUS CHRIST STANDS ON MOUNT ZION WITH THE
EXACT NUMBER OF SHEEP HE HAD AT FIRST.
THE GREAT SHEPHERD HAS
NOT LOST A SINGLE SHEEP!
3) Remember (if you are His Lamb) you will be with Him at the end. He will
never leave you nor forsake you. You will always belong to the Great Shepherd.
ISAIAH 40:11b …He gathers the Lambs in His
arms and carries them close to his heart.
JESUS, THE SHEPHERD, CARRIES YOU AS ONE OF HIS
LAMBS, EVER SO SOFTLY AND TENDERLY AND WILL SEE TO
IT THAT YOU ARE THERE WITH HIM AT THE END.
4) Scripture tells us more about the specific flock of sheep spoken of in
REVELATION 14:1 in the 4th verse of Chapter 14.
REVELATION 14:4 These are the ones who have
not been defiled with women, for they have kept
themselves chaste (they have remained spiritually
pure). These are they who follow the Lamb

12 REVELATION is NOT a Mystery—TEACHER’S GUIDE FUTURE
wherever He goes. These have been purchased
from among men as first fruits (first fruits of the
Tribulation, Christ is the first fruits of the First
Resurrection; I CORINTHIANS 15:20) to God and
to the Lamb (Christ redeemed them and they have
chosen to be the Lamb’s ―bond-servants‖).
e. Not defiled with women…kept themselves pure.
“Kept themselves pure” refers (mainly) to the faithfulness of the
144,000 to Jesus Christ. They remain spiritually pure, because they
faithfully fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
2. DURING SECOND HALF OF TRIBULATION
Remind students that another evangelist (the heavenly herald of the King)
was introduced in Scripture before the two witnesses were described back in
REVELATION 10:1-6. The heavenly herald is an angel dressed in clouds
with a a rainbow cap upon his head. He carries the title deed to earth
containing the record of creation, redemption, judgment and full
restoration. He places his right hand in the air signifying his recognition of
God’s authority. It is extremely difficult to place him on a timeline, but
considering the description, he seems to make his announcement before the
trumpet judgments begin. At which time he announces ―Time is up!‖ Is he
perhaps saying it is time for God’s wrath to begin? Since he also heralds the
coming of the King, it cannot be too far away from the 2nd Advent.
a. Two unusual evangelists.
1) During the last three and a half years of the Tribulation “The Great
Tribulation” God brings Moses and Elijah back to life for a special
assignment.
Place the Moses and Elijah symbols on the timeline between the idol in the
temple and the Armageddon symbols, showing the witnesses evangelize
during the second half of the Tribulation: the Great Tribulation.
2) The supernatural quality of these two evangelists is obvious to
everyone. They are men who have lived before. They stand out, they
are distinct and recognizable. God brings these two men back to
evangelize during the second half of the Tribulation.
3) When the 144,000 Jewish witnesses, plus other mature believers,
flee to the mountains in the middle of the Tribulation, no evangelists
remain in Jerusalem to proclaim the gospel. God sends Moses and
Elijah back to fill the vacancy in the office of evangelism. Moses and

THE TRIBULATION
Salvation during the Tribulation ~ Evangelism during the Tribulation REVELATION 14:1-713
Elijah are effective witnesses and obviously possess spectacular
abilities as evangelists. At the conclusion of their assignment, God
allows Abaddon, the leader of the Demon-Locust-Scorpion army, to
murder them. Their bodies remain in plain view on a prominent street
in Jerusalem for three days and begin to decay, proving their deaths.
The world expresses extreme pleasure over the removal of these “truth
proclaimers” (their pleasure confirmsthe world’s opinion of God) with
a riotous, unrestrained celebration (the Devil’s Christmas). God
restores life to these two witnesses, in plain sight of the entire world by
utube or television, and receives them into heaven (REVELATION
11:3-12). Some are saved, but most reject their witness.
b. The “High Noon Angel”.
Place the ―High Noon Angel‖ symbol at the end of the Tribulation right
before the Armageddon symbol on the timeline. God gives humanity another
chance.
REVELATION 14:6, 7 And I (John) saw another
angel flying in mid-heaven, having an eternal
gospel (the good news that is ageless) to preach to
those who live on earth, and to every nation and
tribe and tongue and people; and he said with a
loud voice, “Fear God, and give him glory,
because the hour of His judgment has come; and
worship Him who made the heaven and the
earth and sea and springs of waters.”
1) God guarantees everyone an opportunity to be saved. He sends an
angel to give the last call loudly, clearly and accurately to all the
world’s inhabitants. What could be more convincing to human beings
than having an angel from heaven proclaim the gospel at exactly
twelve o’clock noon? In every location as the world turns on its axis,
people will see and hear an angel proclaiming what Jesus Christ has
done for them. What does this heavenly evangelist tell us about God?
2) The “High Noon Angel” seriously emphasizes (ONE MORE
TIME) God’s love and grace. It is close to the end of time during
which men have hated God, rebelled against His messengers, crucified
His loving Son, turned down His offer of salvation and still, God gives
one last grace call for men to turn to Him.
GOD HAS DONE EVERYTHING
TO GIVE ALL MEN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TO BE SAVED.

14 REVELATION is NOT a Mystery—TEACHER’S GUIDE FUTURE
3) The “Fair Shake” is demonstrated, again. God offers all men the
opportunity to become His children. Some will not receive the gift.
4) Very little time remains in the Tribulation. Therefore, God
guarantees a clear, accurate presentation of the gospel throughout the
world. Salvation is always available.
Information on the “Fair Shake” is in Teacher’s Appendix.
5) God makes sure He has everyone’s attention and no one
misunderstands the content of the gospel. The High Noon Angel gives
one of the most spectacular evangelistic presentations of all time.
Place the High Noon Angel symbol at the end of the Tribulation
Timeline. It is difficult to be dogmatic concerning the time, but ,most
logically, the angel presents the final gospel proclamation, perhaps
while the two witnesses lie dead on the street in Jerusalem.
3. WORDS AND PHRASES FROM DESCRIPTION
“MID-HEAVEN”
As the world turns, the angel will be in the middle of heaven in the
middle of the day. Every section of the earth sees the angel at
precisely twelve o’clock their time... high noon. In exactly 24 hours,
the whole world hears the gospel.
“ETERNAL GOSPEL”
The “gospel” is eternally the same. Jesus Christ took care of the
problems of sin and death by dying for your sins and mine and
defeating death by returning from the dead.
“THOSE WHO LIVE ON EARTH”
This is the same phrase as “dwell on the earth” and it refers to those
comfortably settled down in Satan’s world: those who have no interest
in God’s message of salvation will hear it anyway.
REVELATION 3:10 Because you have kept the
word of My perseverance, I also will keep you
from the hour of testing, that hour which is
about to come upon the whole world, to test
those who “dwell upon the earth.”

THE TRIBULATION
Salvation during the Tribulation ~ Evangelism during the Tribulation REVELATION 14:1-715
“EVERY NATION, TRIBE AND TONGUE”
No one will be left out. Everyone on earth at that time will hear the
message.
“LOUD VOICE SO ALL COULD HEAR”
The Gospel will be loud, clear and accurate, heard by everyone on the
face of the earth and clearly understood. No one will be able to say,
“Yes, I heard that angel hollering up there, but I couldn’t understand a
word he said.” They will hear. They will understand. Unbelievers are
without excuse (ROMANS 1:18-23)!
4. THE PROGRESSION OF SPECTACULAR QUALITY OF
EVANGELISTS’ ACTIVITIES.
The progression of the spectacular quality of Tribulation evangelists is
one more example of God’s attention to detail. Let’s follow that
progression...
a. First, God provides earthly witnesses.
144,000 witnesses are humans living on earth in the Tribulation,
sealed and protected by God.
b. Second, God provides witnesses with combined earthly and
supernatural qualities.
The rainbow angel comes before the two witnesses in Scripture, but we
can’t put him in a definite spot on the timeline.
Moses and Elijah - Brought back from heaven for a specific tour of
duty, humans, but supernaturally empowered.
c. And, finally, God provides one strictly supernatural witness.
1) The High Noon Angel - An even more spectacularly recognizable
witness, reflecting divine qualities even more vividly. An angelic
creature personally sent from heaven by Almighty God to proclaim
the gospel.
CAN THERE BE AN EVENT, MORE SPECTACULAR AND MORE
OBVIOUSLY FROM GOD?

16 REVELATION is NOT a Mystery—TEACHER’S GUIDE FUTURE
Pause to allow time for students to consider.
I CAN THINK OF ONE, CAN’T YOU?
2) God has already performed the ultimate, most divinely spectacular
act…and humanity as a whole rejected it. God, Himself, in the person
of the second member of the Trinity, God, the Son, willingly accepted
a position lower than angels and came to earth. God, Himself is the
epitome of evangelism: the most spectacular Evangelist of all.
JESUS CHRIST , THE SUPREME, CONSUMMATE, ETERNAL
EVANGELIST, PROCLAIMS THE GOSPEL CONSISTENTLY
THROUGHOUT TIME.
3) Jesus Christ fulfilled the law - in every respect - His conception, His
birth, His life full of miracles, His death, (never has a creature died as
He died) His resurrection. Everything about Him is draped in heavenly
wrappings and bears the fingerprints of God. When other evangelists
are through, Jesus Christ continues to evangelize.
6. CONCLUSION
a. God has proven His willingness to do ANYTHING to make
mankind savable.
1) God’s Son accomplished EVERYTHING necessary and proclaimed
salvation available to ANYONE who will believe.
IN THE CHURCH AGE THE WAY TO GOD IS THROUGH FAITH
IN JESUS CHRIST AND DURING THE TRIBULATION THE WAY
TO GOD IS …THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.
2) Because of God’s character the opportunity to be saved is offered to
every human being in every dispensation. The Tribulation is no
exception. Every one who ever lives is given a fair shake (equal
opportunity and equal privilege) for salvation.
b. Memory verse.
I TIMOTHY 2:3, 4 This is good and acceptable in
the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men
to be saved and come to the knowledge of the
truth.

THE TRIBULATION
Salvation during the Tribulation ~ Evangelism during the Tribulation REVELATION 14:1-717
c. Paraphrase.
It is to our benefit and is, certainly, pleasing to God the Son for
everyone to be saved from the Lake of Fire and have the privilege of
learning truth in order to be wise.
THE GOSPEL IS HEARD AND SOULS ARE SAVED IN THE
TRIBULATION, BECAUSE GOD WANTS SOULS TO BE SAVED.
When Christ returns to earth at His Second Advent, His job
description changes drastically. His primary purpose is not to
evangelize, but to rule His kingdom.
CLOSING PRAYER
NOW, IS THE HOUR OF SALVATION!
(Here is an excellent spot to present the opportunity to trust Jesus Christ as
Savior if teacher desires.)
If you are without Christ, without hope and without eternal life and
you understood, for the first time, the “Good News” presented in this
lesson… If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as your personal
Savior, you might want to receive God’s gift of eternal life, right now.
Jesus Christ is your only hope, without Him, you are lost. The moment
you trust Him, you become God’s child. At that moment, you receive
God’s gift of eternal life and you are saved, forever. If you have Christ,
you have life.
You might want to seal your decision by telling God inaudibly, in the
privacy of your own soul, that you believe Jesus Christ bore the
penalty for your sins in His own body on the cross. Then, simply thank
God for providing salvation in such a marvelous way.
Thank You, Father, for Your wonderful grace plan. In the Name of
Your precious Son, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
