Building database Collecting and sorting data The most important capital in a company is its experience. The database of construction projects is a central memory to store your experience. The data is organised according to subject areas (specification manuals). You can compare the same items used for different projects easily and quickly. You can access all available data from all AUER Bausoftware's modules. Different data sources The data can come from different sources e.g. from specification catalogues, calculations or from memory media of the respectively applicable standard. The programme extracts the hourly rates from the calculations and the results from the post-calculations directly from the controlling modules. You can also enter other data manually. Manage your knowledge The circle is complete During the calculations, you can download results from the post-calculations and pre-calculations. You can see in which projects the item in question has already been calculated or post-calculated. The data circuit is complete. Processing template for an item 28

This module will become your tool for cost estimation, because it enables you to directly compare prices with items in different projects. The construction database is a neutral data basis for the comparison of prices of similar projects. Memory for prices for the calculation of prime contractor projects The calculation for prime contractor projects is dependent, to a great degree, on price experience resulting from similar projects. The programme's price classification system enables you to compare the projects with each other. 29
