HYDROLOGIC CONDITIONS IN WATER YEAR 2008 Figure 4 provides a comparison of average monthly rainfall with monthly rainfall in water year 2008 from the San Benito weather station at the District headquarters in Hollister. The overall total rainfall of 9.07 inches in water year 2008 was considerably less than average (13 inches) and similar to the precipitation in water year 2007. As shown, many months were unusually dry. Climate data and streamflow data for the local area can be found in Appendices B and C, respectively. Figure 4.
