This organization is based on scholarly achievement and is honorary and<br />
national in scope. Beta Kappa Chi grew from an honorary fraternity at <strong>Lincoln</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> into a national honorary scientific society. The purpose of Beta<br />
Kappa Chi is to stimulate and promote interest in scientific education and guidance<br />
of undergraduate training in all fields of science and to dedicate a reasonable<br />
portion of time to graduate study for greater efficiency and better service<br />
in the different scientific fields.<br />
