Almost fifty-two years ago, November 17, 1911, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity
originated at Howard University. The advent of Beta Chapter on Lincoln University's
campus occurred February 13, 1914, in the residence of our fraternity
sister, Mrs. Lottie Wilson, who for her loyalty to the cause of Omega, was
accepted into the brotherhood as a real member, and is the only woman ever
to receive this recognition.
