Clarence Mitchell<br />
Mr. Mitchell, a <strong>Lincoln</strong> graduate<br />
of the class of 1932, spoke in a university<br />
assembly on February 12, 1962. He<br />
has had a distinguished career in government<br />
service with the War Manpower<br />
Commission, War Production Board,<br />
and the Office of Production Management.<br />
He is a member of the Washington<br />
Afro Honor Roll and the Chicago Defender<br />
Honor Roll. Mr. Mitchell has<br />
received the Russwurm Award by the<br />
National Newspaper Publishers Association.<br />
He is now Director of the Washington<br />
Bureau of the N.A.A.C.P.<br />

Dr. James H. Robinson<br />
Dr. Robinson, founder and pastor of<br />
the Church of the Master, founder and<br />
director of the Morning Side Community<br />
Center in New York City, recipient of<br />
the Honorary degree of Doctor of<br />
Humane Letters granted by <strong>Lincoln</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> in 1950; author of "Road<br />
Without Turning", and "Tomorrow is<br />
Today" and the Lyman Beecher Lectures<br />
at the Yale Divinity School published<br />
under the title "Adventurous Preaching",<br />
and since 1958 founder and director<br />
Operations Crossroads-Africa, and<br />
vice-Chairman of the Advisory Council<br />
of the Peace Corps.<br />
Dr. Robinson described his creative<br />
enterprise "Operations Crossroads*-<br />
Africa to students faculty and friends<br />
at a <strong>Lincoln</strong> <strong>University</strong> Assembly on<br />
October 11, 1961,
