The condensate trap (GL 45 brown glass bottle) is cooled by either a cooling coil with cryostat or with ice bath. A wire mesh keeps the center<br />
free from ice, so that the condensate trap can insert easy. Radially around the cooling jacket can plugged in the adsorber units or the drop<br />
separator and connected with glass.<br />
After the condensate trap flows the gas through two adsorber with an interposed standard plane filter. For easy filling, the adsorber have a GL<br />
60 thread (opening Ø 50 mm) and can be sealed gas-tight for a contamination-free transport.<br />

Measurement of TAR according to CEN/TS draft 15439<br />
Sampling line for the TAR determination<br />
Method: Sampling according to EN 13284-1, heated thimble filter, absorption through 6 bubbler in isolated inox box with two separate sections.<br />
Construction according to CEN/TS 15439. Last trap is one XAD-cartridge.<br />

Proven technology by Gothe<br />
The Gothe gas sample probes can use for continuous gas sampling in high dust content, temperatures and humidity.<br />
The probe can combine with one preliminary filter and a main heated filter with can change without dismounting the complete gas sample<br />
probe. Designed is this probe for easy installation, reliable operation, trouble-free maintenance and universal applicability. Depending on the<br />
application, different prefilters with G ½ thread and main filters can used.<br />
The main filter element is placed in housing with low stagnant space and can exchange with simple tools and it is not necessary to remove the<br />
sample line, thus avoiding contamination of the clean gas path and also maintaining the integrity of the system.<br />
The special high performance heating cartridge permits controlled heating of the complete filter housing and probe up to 300°C. This ensures<br />
reliable operation external to the process preventing the temperature falling below the dew-point, as requested 180°C in the Standard. The<br />
temperature is controlled by an integral compact design capillary sensor thermostat. The calibration gas can be injected in front of the filter to<br />
be sure that it has the same circumstance as the sampling gas.<br />

Electrical heated with high performance heating cartridge ~ 400 Watt (230 V), length: ca. 200 mm, Ø 110 mm, with isolation, Stainless Steel<br />

For the determination of the temperature in the afterburning zone should be measured only the convective component of heat and not the<br />
radiative exchange between the thermocouple and its surroundings. For such measurement you need our robust suction pyrometers. The<br />
thermocouple is located in the front area of the probe and is shielded by a ceramic body and shielded against the IR radiation from the combustion<br />
chamber. The gases are drawn between the shields and over the thermocouple with high velocity (> 80 m/s ) so that the equilibrium<br />
thermocouple temperature is the gases temperature without the need for correction. The suction probes are fully jacketed and cooled. The<br />
sucked and cooled gas can use for oxygen measurement. The special bayonet coupling at the front of our pyrometer allows rapid exchange of<br />
broken ceramics.<br />
Application for temperatures up to 1600°C. .<br />

Pitot tubes<br />
With Pitot tubes and difference pressure sensors can you measure very easy the gas pressure, velocity and volumetric flow. Unlike nozzles<br />
and orifice the pitot tubes cause in pipe lines no significant pressure loss. They are largely independent of position. Differences between the<br />
flow direction and the axis of the pitot tube head up to 15° practically do not affect the measurements.<br />
In general, pitot tubes are combinations of two tubes, one for total pressure and one for the static pressure. The difference between these<br />
pressures is the dynamic pressure. This dynamic pressure is in relationship with the gas density and velocity. By knowing of the gas density<br />
can you calculate very easy the velocity.<br />
The Pitot tube measurement with our high-precision micromanometers allows for much more accurate readings than other methods. Moreover,<br />
you must have only a relative small hole in the duct wall to allow at all times quick measurements.<br />

Heated Power-Plant-Probe<br />
The probe can be used in power plants with high concentration of sulphuric acid droplets in the flue gas. One<br />
exchangeable plane filter holder is in the front of a heated probe. Around of this plane filter holder and the<br />
conical entry is winding a second high performance heater cartridge. This avoids condensation at the filter<br />
(gas temperature above dew point, measured with a thermocouple in the gas stream). At the exit can screwed<br />
extensions. The filter can be heated above the dew point of the sulphuric acid and avoid wrongness dust<br />
measurement. Because the collected sulphuric acid droplets on the filter can sham up to 10 mg/m³ dust.<br />

Information to the sealingmaterial:<br />
Aramid-composite material: Aramid (known as Kevlar) is a high temperature-stable aromatic Polyamid-fibre. These fibre don't melt, it is resistant<br />
against acids and organic solvents. Through admix of softeners (e.g. Rubber) the fibre stuck together and can use as seals. This mixture<br />
loses their softeners from 150°C and becomes fragile. The function as seal is still given until 400°C. After this thermal treatment, the seal<br />
can use not a second time, they are too brittle. By the treatment with graphite, the evaporation of the softeners is clearly delayed and the seal<br />
consequently reach a longer temperature-stability.<br />
Nyhalit: Material of Nyhalit becomes fragile at application until 300°C and can not use a second time.<br />
Teflon: Teflon is thermal stable until 250°C, becomes very soft from 200°C however and can not use as a safe seal.<br />

The GilAir pumps (GilAir-3 & GilAir-5) have one of the largest user bases of any air sampling pump worldwide. These<br />
reliable 3 and 5 liter per minute air sampling pumps have automatic constant flow assuring sampling is maintained<br />
within +/- 5% of the initial set point. Setting the flow rate on the GilAir-3 & GilAir-5 is a simple process that requires<br />
no special adjustment tool so you spend less time configuring pumps.<br />

or stop the pump at preset time intervals or program a delayed start.<br />
Flow Fault & Test Indicators<br />
The fault light indicator activates when the pump flow control is outside +/-5% of the required flow rate, such as from low battery, blocked<br />
tubing or filter. If fault conditions persist for 30-60 seconds, the pump automatically shuts down and freezes the timer. Models with a timer<br />
display preserve run time on the display, ensuring a valid sampling result. When the fault condition is cleared before shutdown, the pump will<br />
resume normal sampling and fault light turns off. The GilAir-3 & 5 also has a Battery Test indicator light that illuminates when the battery can<br />
provide a minimum of 8 hours of operation over operating range.<br />
External Filter Housing<br />
Clear filter housing allows an immediate visual inspection of the internal filter's condition. This feature protects the pump from dirt and debris<br />
and is externally mounted on the pump, allowing for quick inspection. Filter replacement requires the removal of just four screws. A built-in<br />
moisture trap helps prevent moisture from entering and damaging the pump chamber, such as moisture carryover from impingers.<br />

The Gilibrator-2 System provides users with a convenient and highly automated way to check almost any commercially available air sampling<br />
pump for proper air flow function before deployment. The system consists of an electronic Gilibrator-2 Base which is used with any of three<br />
sizes of wet bubble cells. These patented interchangeable components are also available as part of kits which can also include a complete<br />
calibration diagnostic panel. All cells use a twist-on bayonet design for quick and easy mounting to the base. All are certified for accuracy and<br />
traceable to NIST.<br />
Calibration Cells<br />
Three bubble cells are available, for air flow ranges of 1 to 250 cc/min (low flow cell), 20 cc/min to 6 LPM (standard flow cell) and 2 to 30 LPM<br />
(high flow cell). These interchangeable wet cells generate perfect bubble films at the touch of a button. An infrared sensor reads the bubble<br />

Modell 900 is an external Non Methane Hydrocarbon Cutter which allows the added capability to measure<br />
alternately METHANE ONLY or THC with one heated total hydrocarbon analyzer (HFID).<br />
The J.U.M. Engineering Model 900 External NMHC Cutter is the low cost alternative compared to "all in one"<br />
heated non methane hydrocarbon analyzers. The cutter is housed in a 19 inch rack mount case and is to be<br />
added in series to the sample inlet of a total hydrocarbon FID analyzer. In the "Methane"-mode the catalyst<br />
allows only Methane to reach the FID analyzer. The FID analyzer will consequently measure Methane only.<br />
In the "THC"-mode the catalyst is bypassed and the FID analyzer will consequently measure total hydrocarbons,<br />
including the Methane. A stainless steel assembly (pat. pend.) which contains a proprietary catalyst is<br />
housed inside of the heated oven in the rack mount case. The heated oven is maintained at a stable temperature by an internal microprocessor<br />
controlled temperature controller.<br />
The Model 900 includes all necessary plumbing, our permanent sample filter which is cleaned by back purging and all solenoid switching<br />
valves, all in one oven. The switching valves allow the catalytic converter to be switched into and out of the sample stream. The heated FID<br />
analyzer will consequently measure total hydrocarbons or methane only. To determine the non-methane hydrocarbon concentration the methane<br />
concentration needs to be subtracted from the total hydrocarbon concentration following the various national regulations. All connectors<br />
are on the rear panel, all controls are activated by front panel switches. Remote control for CH4-sample, THC-sample, calibrate and backpurge<br />

The Model 108 dilutes an introduced sample gas in a 1:10 (standard), or a 1:100 (optional) dilution rate to allow<br />
the linear measurement of hydrocarbon concentrations above several thousand ppm up to 10% and above. The<br />
sample injection method is used in this 190 deg.C heated sample diluter for fast response and improved zero<br />
and span stability of a hydrocarbon measurements.<br />
The Model 108 is also used to minimize negative effects due to highly concentrated interference compounds and contamination. Additionally,<br />
so called "memory effects" or hydrocarbon hang-up due to condensation of heavy hydrocarbons as well as other condensed impurities in the<br />
sample gas can be largely prevented. A total hydrocarbon analyzer, placed downstream of the diluter will continuously draw a constant<br />
amount of zero or room air through the diluter. The internal sample pump draws the sample into the diluter. The Model 108 is equipped with a<br />
permanent sample filter to be back purged with high pressure air or nitrogen for cleaning, 2 micron stainless steel sample filter. Downstream<br />
of the internal sample pump is the actual dilution capillary setup which is controlled by precision flow/pressure regulation to ensure a constant<br />
flow of sample through the diluter capillary. The diluter capillary flow is finely adjustable to maintain the correct injection amount.<br />

GAS PERMEABILITY DEVICE GJ1<br />
The gas permeability device GJ1 measure the gas permeability of foundry sand. The gas permeability is influenced by<br />
the clay content, the degree of compaction and the sand grain size.<br />
STRENGTH TEST INSTRUMENT<br />
The strength test device SJ1 measure the compression / bending / shear is / double shear and the splitting tensile<br />
strength of green and core sand.<br />
PNEUMATIC COMPACTOR CJ1<br />
The Compactor CJ1 is approved only for the compression of green sand. With the device, the compressibility can be linked to<br />
form a clay substance determined in%. By the pneumatic device, the different compaction is excluded by different users. The<br />

PNEUMATIC EJECTOR<br />
he pneumatic ejector EJECTOR is exclusively for ejecting from compacted Green and core sand by VDG (German Association<br />
Foundry Professionals) produced specimens. The specimens are ejected by moving down the Pneumatic cylinder without changing<br />
their properties. Also Core sand samples with no split specimen tube can be ejected gently.<br />

The mechanical, analogue mixers provide a very high torque at low speeds and a falling at high speeds. Thus, both high viscosity<br />
