Modelers’ Challenge
By Roger Ferris
According to Frank Gerry, the (former) driver of this rig was only in Canada for a few months. He missed a turn by Brandon, Manitoba
and figured he would just go over the hill and continue on the road, not knowing there were rail tracks at the top of the grade. The
truck owner figures he had to be doing at least 55 MPH to make it to the top. Look closely: the truck only stopped when the large reefer
trailer pinched its rear tires!
