These drop hanger designs are
equipped with welding straps. This
higher flexibility in the application,
however, is connected with a considerrable
installation expense (preparation
weld, welding, renewal of the protective
corrosion coating).

Due to the omission of the appropriate
fixing parts, this version is provided for
a fastening by means of a through bore
hole. Axial movements of the pipe are
not allowed when using this version.
The use of spherical disc /ball socket
renders, if necessary, a limited reciprocating
movement without additional
load of moments on the threaded rod
(see figure 2).
