BR Ms Haruki II 2606 is a granddaughter of Monjiro who is linebred to Tajima J105, a foundation sire of the highly marbling Tajima line of Wagyu. 2606 has been used in the LMR program as both producer and recipient cow – she has also produced an 18-Star AI daughter by BR Takazakura-0606 3612. BR Ms Haruki II 2606 is a linebred Tajima and would pair well with a Dai 7 Itozakura line bull – adding growth to her strong marbling bias. {LMR Toshiro 723T would be a terrific flushing choice.} LMR Ms Itozurudoi 8164U is a 7-month old heifer sired by Itozurudoi TF151 - an outstanding sire about whom Wagyu authority Shane Lindsay, has said: “Itozurudoi TF151 beat Michifuku in every statistical category in comparing Full Blood Wagyu carcasses. By the time his progeny were tested, and his value discovered, however, he was deceased – resulting in a very limited supply of semen.” LMR Ms Itozurudoi 8164’s donor (or genetic dam), CF 503, was sired by Itoshigenami TF148 – another of Mr. Shogo Takeda’s influential sires and about whom it has been written: “TF148 is a medium-framed bull with excellent confirmation. LMR Itozurudoi 8161U is a 7-month old bull calf sired by Itozurdoi TF151. This 16-Star bull calf is a paternal brother to Lot 9A and to Lots 50 & 51. A 6-month old TF151 bull, (CHR Itozurudoi 300) at the LMCC’s First Production Sale (2008) for $9,000. 8161U’s maternal granddam is Hikokura 1/10 – whose genetics represent the main line of cattle at MR. Shogo Takeda’s farm in Hokkaido, Japan – Hikokura 1/10 is an extremely large Wagyu cow, weighing 1500 lbs. Mr. Takeda has said of this line: “Great genetics, with an extremely large body frame, great marbling, and good at raising calves with plenty of milk.” 8161U’s MGS, Itoshigenami TF148, was sired by Shigeshigenami – who traces back twice to his sire, Shigekananami, the bull who made the Kumanami line of Tajima famous. This family has extremely potent marbling genes.
