Friday, March 4 th
2011, Giles High School’s
gym could be found filled
to the brim with students
anxiously awaiting the
outcome of our annual
Senior Faculty game. Upon
entering the doors you
would soon find yourself in
the middle of an epic
basketball battle between
our beloved seniors and
teachers. While the teams
were obviously divided
between teachers and
seniors, they were also
divided by gender. The
ladies held the court for
half a quarter followed by
the guys for the remainder.

for a total of four quarters and proved to be quite entertaining for those who
were in the stands. All the players entered the court full of enthusiasm in the
hopes that their team would prove themselves the champions of the evening.
Giles students wanted nothing more than for this to be the year that the seniors
would finally school the teachers. Though our graduates pushed to come out on
top they proved no match to the expertise of the mighty teachers and ended the
game with a score of 28 to 79. Disappointment never to seemed to phase these
players or their fans considering most walked out that night laughing from the
events of the game. Congratulations once again teachers, and remember
Juniors, next year it’s your turn!
