VINAVIL EVA <strong>4612</strong> is a water dispersion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer, free from plasticizers,<br />
coalescing agents, alkil phenol ethoxylate (APEO-free) and with very low free monomer content.<br />

APPLICATIONS<br />
VINAVIL EVA <strong>4612</strong> is used to formulate interior and exterior emulsion paints, even at high PVC levels,<br />
showing a very good wet scrub resistance. It can also be used to prepare wall textured coatings, satin<br />
and gloss emulsion paints.<br />
SPECIFIC PROPERTIES<br />
The presence of ethylene in the VINAVIL EVA <strong>4612</strong> gives a low minimum film forming temperature,<br />
even without coalescing agents. The amount of ethylene has been calculated to obtain both, a low value<br />
of MFFT, and a low tackiness, with a good alkali resistance too.<br />
The peculiar particle size distribution allows to obtain at the same time a high hiding power, and a high<br />
white index.<br />
VINAVIL EVA <strong>4612</strong> shows a pseudoplastic behaviour, that affect good application characteristics to<br />
the emulsion paints based on it.<br />
VINAVIL EVA <strong>4612</strong> is fully compatible with all the components used to prepare emulsion paints, in<br />
particular with the organotitanates used as structuring agent for thixotropic paints.<br />
Considering these features VINAVIL EVA <strong>4612</strong> has been specially designed for low VOC odourless<br />
paints.<br />

STORAGE<br />
