Founded in 1986, Computer Confidence, Inc. (CCI) has built its reputation on providing quality
education to both local and national clients. The company has over 17 years of experience and is
Rochester’s largest locally owned computer training company. CCI is one of a few companies
well established in both classroom training and training manual publishing. CCI is registered as a
Private Business School by the New York State Education Department and is also a NYS
certified WBE-Woman Owned Enterprise and is certified as a participant in the US Small
Business Administration’s (SBA) and 8(a) programs. Publishing: CCI develops and
publishes courseware materials for industry standard software applications. CCI’s manuals are
utilized in our own classrooms as well as in other classrooms around the country. Currently CCI
has copyrighted over 100 nationally used training manuals. These manuals are sold nationally
and internationally to bookstores, computer training companies and distributors, and are available
in either electronic or printed formats. Training-Corporate Classroom Training: Over
250 courses are offered at either our training facility or at the customer location. We specialize in
Microsoft Office 97 and 2000 applications, Windows 98, NT and technical applications such as
A+, Network + and MOUS certification courses. Pre & Post testing and other training products
are also offered. CCI also provides custom training for companies that have specific training
requirements for their employees and/or consumers. Our list of satisfied customers includes: The
Document Company Xerox, Bausch & Lomb, Kodak, and the University of Rochester, just to
name a few. Training-Retraining Programs: CCI specializes in developing retraining
programs for individuals with little or no computer experience, who have been downsized, or wish
to embark on a new career or start a small business. Currently, CCI is on the WIA and TRA
preferred vendor lists and has been contracted by Rochester Housing Authority to develop and
implement their retraining programs. Our retraining customers have included Eastman Kodak
Early Retirees, United Auto Workers and VESID among others.
